mike, good work on the header. i like it better than the previous layout. it looks more relaxed and blends better with your background color. the feel of the page is more calm and looks clean, it's like a soothing holiday escape

i too have just returned from foreign land to set up a business here in Bohol. it was quite a shock to hear news about robberies and the like. though i still am positive about Bohol. i guess anywhere in the country is put to threat. there's not much difference anyway. kumbaga, in the event of evils, we go for the lesser evil. there's no place like home. we just have to be extra careful.

i think that incident is a good reminder to be extra careful. sometimes i'm a bit loose and too friendly.

my cafe hasn't been up yet but now im having second thoughts. the business will be that attractive to burglars and it's something that scares me. i lost connection with my martial arts already...hehehehe i think i will have to revisit my master once again...

anyway, i really appreciate all your kind thoughts. make me a lot better knowing there are still few who cares. i would like to think that, that 'stranger' might just be nosy otherwise i would continue to be unsafe in my own country. it's very ironic because Thailand has stricter rules and their cops are more visible and checks on you if you are ok.

thanks guys for all the concern. it really scared the s*** out of me. we were looking face to face. my brain froze at the moment thinking what to do. i could have opened the window and tell him 'what's your problem man?. don't you have your own window to look into?' i'm thinking of setting up security cams around the vicinity and maybe burglar alarms or electric fences...hehehehe. bitaw, that incident paranoids me, i keep looking at the window even when no ones in there. i'm not familiar how cops work here but i have a feeling they are not of much help. i hope they will make me feel safe because at the moment i don't.

i usually work at night and early hours in the morning. that's usually how artists' clock are ticking. my creativity peaks when darkness fall...kumbaga night owl. i was painting my soon to be cybercafe when someone just peeped on my window jalousy. i saw his face stuck close to the glass. what was that guy doing in my window around 2 AM?  He seem to be checking out what's inside the house or was he planning a scheme? Maybe he thought everyone was sleeping. After hearing all the stories about robbery and stuff, that got to my nerves. it was really creepy having been faced to faced with a stranger with just a piece of glass in between. im just letting all of u know just in case anything happens to me if that guy's brain turns nuts.

sometimes it's a plus to value ourselves but not so much of pulling our own chair, it's overkill. we should know our boundaries, when that oozing confidence pull some strings and when to stop... the line between truth and lies, because that's what make some people off.

i really think our ancestors taught us well and brought us up with good values. i may not be that religious but despite modernization and so much influence from outside world i still have managed to keep some of it. it doesn't hurt to brag sometimes but make sure u are worth it and its not all talk.

ey peeps! where can i find raw materials for fashion accessories like wood, stones, shells, beads etc. here in Bohol?
