re your poll if it's a good idea to rent a resort, depende sa imong needs and resources. I guess there's nothing wrong if you want to rent a whole resort if you can afford it.

Tsismis is very therapeutic. Mas therapeutic pa na sa Prozac. Everybody does Tsismis because everybody needs it. Basta di lang mang LIBAK, tsismis is fun! Ang uban nga tawo Libak is their way of tsismis which is bad. Yeah it might be therapeutic for them but causes trouble to them and other people. They like it and happy for it, so be it, ayaw lang pasakop, and never repeat it to everybody else.
One mistake sa atong mga Pinoy Tsismosa is they are REPETITIVE! (ikatay sa uban) Try to tsismis about something else not someone else LIFE!
Im so glad to have two constant tsismis buddies who are fun to talk with my Tiya Grazy and my dear Ginger. But as far as i can remember we never talked about people's lives but events in our lives. It is fun!
Di ba Tiya? Ginger?

Kon daghan mo kaayo, and you are always out (kay turista man), mouli lang og matulog, you need a cheap yet limpyo nga dapit? Try the BPSTEA (Bohol Public School Teachers and Employees Association). Dorm type, 8 to 24 occupants per room. Aircon. P300 per person per day. Pwede magpaluto og pamahaw, way labot sa room charge.

I am very late in this topic. much has changed as I started to volunteer in Viet Nam.
I wanted to chime in, this post brought back so much memories of my time in New Orleans and Mississippi. The crawfish boil is a staple in just relaxing, sitting outside and drinking beer, we often preferred Heineken with it. The best crawfish is homecooked, complete with butter, cayenne, orange juice, garlic, lemon and onions, andoulie sausage, and corn, potatoes. With the Vietnamese community, we also often ate it alongside balut and other delicacies they have.
On the subject of Creole food, we also can't forget GUMBO, crawfish etouffee, jambalaya, red beans and rice. If I ever meet any of y'all one day, I have to make you my crawfish etouffe, u have to get this only in the Gulf Coast of America to taste this special region of American food.

I am placed in a predicament.
The girl that I have secretly crushed over for the past several months has asked me to a date. Plano ko to take her to the Cultural Show to be held tomorrow from 5-8pm. Date date ra.
Now the difficult part is trying to control the feelings, hehehe.
Control the urges to unleash the romantic urges, that would ambivilate our friendship.
I would rather sacrifice any possibility of a relationship (romantic) with this woman in order to preserve the friendship. Oh such feelings, why do I have this crush for her? lfe, life, life. hehehe.
I can hear the words of my father ringing in my ears, "Studies first. Unya ra nang nobia-nobia".
Preserve!

quote from fdaray: Again , I would say, "can trees substitute for crops ? Moabot ang panahon, kahoy na ang daghan ug wala nay crops.
a balance between planting trees and agricultural crops will have to be struck to ensure that people continue to have basic food source - unless people are ready and willing to munch on tree leaves when they get hungry.
the best way to maintain said balance would be to plant trees in watersheds and areas that have steep inclines that are prone to erosion and therefore not conducive to farming, and establish farms where the terrain is flatter and more suitable to agricultural production.
in plain and simple terms: mananon tag kahoy sa bukid ug bakilid, mag farm ta sa patag.

When I sworn in to become a naturalized U.S. citizen, tears rolls down on my cheeks, tears of joy, unexplainable mixed emotions had shaken my innermost being; thank you U.S.A, this country has been so good to me.
But to all filipinos just to let you know, my heart still belong to Pilipinas, the land of my birth.
I never get tired of going to the Philippines to visit, the neighborhood, relatives and the food of course.
The last time I visited; I was sweeping the front of the house using a coconut broom and the neighbors said ; may bag-o sila nga maid dinha?..hahahhaha
Last 4th, I was working though 12 hours shift; busy but I love my job at least all my patients were all right.
Many times I was asked by the patient or family; where you came from?, I answered proudly, "from the Philippines" sometimes I even asked in return, "how do you like my tan? it's natural, I was born with it" hahahaha,

it might interest you to know, people, that when the post office vacated its last rented location prior to its transfer to its own building at the old city hall compound near the cathedral, thousands of undelivered letters were discovered hidden in the ceiling of that building. obviously, this is where the thieves at the post office discarded the letters that they had tampered with... i'm just wondering if there aren't any tampered letters stashed and/or discarded in the ceiling of the building they occupy now.
