Marie,

I suggest you continue with your Ornament export business.

I suggest nga mag design ka ug mga bags or wallet nga gi decoratan ug Swarovski crystals or maybe local ornaments such as shells or wooden materials.

So wala kay risk.

I download ni nga Export Guidelines ug kini makatabang kanimo: http://webh01.ua.ac.be/cas/PDF/ASEAN02.pdf

Savor every moment of joy with your family or loved ones and give them your best, now. Do not invest much of your time for the future as tomorrow is unpredictable.

As per my research, Bilaans are not Muslims, but indegenous natives dominating Davao, Marbel and north mindanao. Their religion is either animist or hindus. They are among the circle of Srivijayan and Mujapahit empire.

During early 14th Century an arab missionary came to south of mindanao and married one of the Iranon princess of the maguindanao tribe in a rice plain of south mindanao. Only from that point did Islam spread in south of the Philippines.

Also that is the era of the desintegration of the Srivijayan Empire caused by the involvement of the Dutch with thier policy of divide & conquer, which weaken the monopoly of the spice trade.

During the time when Miguel Lopez de Legazpi arrived in Bohol, there were already skermishes by marauding factions affiliated to the Dutch leadership and probably the Bilaans were one of those groups.

Di man siguro na makahilo but there some risk.

Nabasa nako sa June issue sa National Geographic nga ang amount of corn to produce 25 gallons of Ethanol is enough to feed 1 person in one year.

So unsa man ang prioridad sa kalibutan karon, Energy or Food?

Kining Ethanol from Algae, unang migawas ni sa October 2008 issue man siguro to sa Nat Geo.

Maayo ni nga project kay ang algae is one of the Sinks (means CO2 reducers).

So, nagpabiling ang pangutana. Unsa ang prioridad sa tao, Energy or Pagkaon?

Macks, korek jud.  Depende sa nature sa imong work/profession and everything should be spelled out in our terms of reference or job description, or job order, as you call it.

dili man siguro automatic double pay ang mag overtime.  Naay graduated rate ana.  Kadtong sa amo sa una, if 4 hours ka mag overtime, 125% if less than 4 hours and over that entitled na sa meal allowance, over and above the remuneration of 130%.  Mag double lang if Sundays and legal holidays.

Unsa man sa inyong policy, Bem?

So importante nga basahon ang contract before mo perma.
#227
Depende sa nature sa company ug depende pod sa imong profession. Kung ang company is a powerplant or production company, ilang i-apil ang mandatory overtime sa contract signing kay dili man kalikayan ang machine maintenance or breakdown.

Kung Doctor or medical field ang imong profession, mandatory ang overtime, bisan walay bayad basta call of duty. Mao pod ni sa Army & Dissaster brigade.

Ang importante ani nga issue kung in accordance ba sa law ang gihatag nga compensation which is double pay sa imong normal rate.

Well said.

60% of voters comes from age 18-40 age bracket
28% of voters comes from age 18-24 age bracket (youth)
that means 47% of the 18-40 braket are youth

As you know, high percentage of the unemployed comes from the youth/new graduates with age bracket of 18-24 which have employment rate of only 30%.

These numbers pose a big risk of bribery and vote buying.

There is also a saying that Hope is the key to happiness.

Even if you have nothing but only hope, you will still be happy.

Also I believe that love makes a person happy.

Dili basta basta ang quality ug kasagaran mga made in Germany. Duna silay partnership sa German Government nga mag tukod ug International Hospital nga funded by the Royal Family.

Akong tulo ka mga anak dire tanan gi deliver ug libre bisan ang gatas up to two weeks.

Ga una-una man ni sila. Wala pa gani ma ammend atong constitution, naa nay foreigner nga gustong mopalit sa Philippine property.

To-od for good cause man ni kay boosting eco-tourism man ug income generating.

Ang "Persona Non Grata" term is used exclussively for deplomatic personalities only. Like a leader of one country may not be welcomed by another country due to atrocities.

This word is wrongly used here. Why not just simply say unwanted.

Basin mahimo na pod noon ang Bol-anon nga subject of Visayan jokes which confirms Bohol as a Republic (separate country) mao nga mi gamit ug deplomatic terminology.

In the late 40's, Hollywood predicted that in 1999 humans will build a colony in Mars. In 1960's & 70's Hollywood predicted that in 1999, cars will run by anti-gravity and without wheels.

#266
Word nga "Butang" has many meaning like:

Butang = put
Butang = thing
Butang = punch / blow
Butang = contribution

(double it) butang-butang = Accuse

Example:
Meaning:
If you accuse me that I did not contribute, I will punch your face. Put all things right.

Ako ra pod ni nga imbento. Hehehe

I agree with the Medical Committee in the Philippines about having his medical license stripped.

If an American Physician even so as laid a hand on a patient in anyway sexual-based, he or she would have his or her medical license revoked.

(not including personal damages). And we're looking at anywhere between 2-5 million dollars worth of damages. The insurance settle--no less than 500g, at least.

I agree with you Lorenzo. I even read a weird case that a US male gaenecologist was stripped off with his license for fondling her patient while doing genital examination.

However, with the fact of 1 doctor per 5,000 Filipinos, we can not afford to suspend Dr. Hyden. Moreover, Filipinos are forgiving in nature.

Mao lagi nga naay movement nga "Responsible Journalism" or "Truth in Advertising". Ang Ad is a form of mass media ug matawag sab nato nga form of journalism.

Ang Ad is a very powerful and influential media that could change peoples perspective and lifestyle either positively or negatively. It works inside our sub-conscious mind. So you will realize that even how annoying the jingle of an Ad is, you will somehow like it in few days of listening and will start humming the tune.

There is freedom in advertising like freedom of the press.

sori Mack mejo mo disagree lng kog jutay ha, a different perspective lng.

karon lng ko kita ani nga adv pero i like it a lot and it's very creative. i think one of the tricks in adv is subliminal message and it's perfectly conveyed here precisely on the 'lovely and favorite things' consumers generally prefer.

IMO, the content of this adv is primarily driven by the song (dili na sya jingle), "My Favorite things", one of the classic favorite songs in the movie musical, 'The Sound Of Music' and the singer's voice is the well known Julie Andrews who played Maria, the nun who became the governess or babysitter of the captain's children.

the song alone reminds the audience of the 'favorite things' like the lovely cake they see on the adv...the delicious pouring of the honey mixed with the dough to form the panels of the car. this adv will click with the old generation and the young generation as well since that song has been played since the 1960's and recently The sound of music movie was digitally remastered and released for the viewing pleasure of the children worldwide.

here are snippets of the lyrics:

My Favorite Things

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

The Sound of Music

The hills are alive with the sound of music
With songs they have sung for a thousand years
The hills fill my heart with the sound of music
My heart wants to sing every song it hears

@ happy...
gudlak sa imo exam and your creative advert  ;D

Jams,

Actually, I like the concept and the song and the creativity. It is perfectly done and no wonder it became a prized piece of TV Ad. Mostly, I like the song because it reminds me of my elementary days when our whole class with my favourite classmates went to BQ to watch the Sound of Music. I just cant forget the song.

However, the present world is much different. Too much values are not treasured anymore and people are more practical. Back then, if you are a good person, somebody will take care of you, but at present times nobody cares.

People nowadays are more focused on money than ethics or artistic values.

This is a mad world.

But you are right Jams, no doubt about it.

Aniay mga sample sa mga TV Ad.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwBE1l6QexU&feature=PlayList&p=87B3C34A7DEEB956&index=0&playnext=1

Wala ko mo angay ani nga mga Ads for below reason:
1. Dili realistic, fantasy based.
2. Ang type of humor pang European. Dili mo sakay sa Pinoy type of humor.
3. Tag-as ra kaayo. Dapat naa sa 10 - 20 seconds lang. So mahal ang bayad.
4. Dili Economical ang gi gamit nga props.

Akong suggestion: Simple, Direct, Catchy, a bit of humor, creative using indigenous inexpensive props. Using celebrity is a shortcut but expensive.

Back then when I was in 1st Year High School, some 4th Year Senior Gang will stand outside the Boys CR victimizing us newbie kids. They will ask 25 centavos for entrance or you will pee in your pants. That time, 25 centavos can buy 3 sticks of cigarettes.

Maybe this is a literal meaning of "Gator Fee".

Ang TV, Magazine ug Newspaper Ad, mass media, gi tawag kini ug ATL or Above the line Ad.

Ang mga Banners, Posters ug leaflets nga gi distribute sa streets is called BTL or below the line.

After all the semantic incision, we're coming full circle here.

I just remember that team-building game wherein participants are told to form a line and the head of each line whispers a word to the first person to be passed on to the last person.

It's amazing how a word sometimes gets distorted, mutated or mangled beyond recognition by the time it reaches the last person. It teaches us a lesson about the importance of clarity of communication, and of hearing the word from the first person who said it.

Ang ilang "L" will sound line "R" like Candle sounds like Kender.

1. Story Board
2. Target Audience
3. Duration
4. Frequency
5. Prime Time
6. Celbrity Endorser & Talent fee
7. Product Image

Case to case basis ni ug murag Bidding. Daghan kini ug option.

What will be the name of the  airport.?
This will also promote tourism in Bohol.

Pero kung ang ngan pananglitan Sikatuna International Airport, mo ingon ang travel agent nga who is this Sikatuna, which part of the world?, so, tungod sa iyang ka busy, mo ingon na lang, "why wont you try Thailand".
