Based on AL-Riyadh Local Newspaper dated 25-May-09

Weather temperature in summer ((After 26 days)) will reach 60c degrees affecting both Eastern and Central regions

Dr. Ali Shukry, head of physics department , King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, stating that this year both eastern and central (Riyadh) regions will be suffering an unexpected and very high raise in temperatures that might reach 60 degrees between 11 - 2 PM with an average higher than usual temperature of 50 degrees for several days...

Ingoon ahong papa sa una, when he was in Saudi, growing and maintaining a beard was beneficial:
1) you get harassed less by the arabs
2) protects your face from sand and the heat kono

The rise of temperature in many places of the world is the effect of global warming.

Some islets in the Philippines submerged in water, as observed in the two islets in Panglao, Bohol.

Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century and its projected continuation. Today noon, the temperature was 53 degrees centegrade. I was walking in the street with my 4 year old daughter when one Arab said, "the temperature is too hot for the little girl". I told him "she is used to this climate, she is born here", then we continued our walk while my daughter playfully hops & strides like little red ridding hood, not bothered by the intense heat.

UV is not the issue in this part of the world. UV radiation is blocked by the high amount of dust. It is the heat that is trapped between the ground and the dusty sky which is called a heat wave.

Believe it or not Bambi, even at night the temperature remains the same bisan wala nay sunlight.

I feel that kind of heat while we stop- over in Qatar,Doha way home during summertime (been that airport 3x flying with Qatar Air - cheap but unpunctual in their schedules) It was about 8 o'clock nighttime when we landed. Mora ba ug na-igo kos tambutso sa kainit but i like more dry heat compared to our humid Phils. temperature.
