Question and Answer / Re: is it Love or Security?
June 26, 2007, 07:06:30 AM
I remember the movie GREENCARD starring that French actor, Deperdeu.

It's a story about a foreigner and a local girl who got married, separated, and fall in love with each other - in that order.

How To Tips / Re: ...how to WAKE UP EARLY...
June 26, 2007, 06:59:02 AM
As one grows older, the earlier one wakes up in the morning.

I have no trouble waking up early (not that I am still a minor -- as mike believed --) but because I can't get to sleep at night.

Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old.
Never die. It's fun to be a vampire.

Carmen - Bohol / Re: Rape Case in Carmen, Bohol
June 26, 2007, 06:45:35 AM
The story tells two situations.

The first is physical rape -- Forcing the male genitalia or an object into the female's sex organ against the woman's will. This is the claim of the woman-victim that this was done to her by her policeman-boyfriend.

The second is mental rape -- Forcing into the mind of the woman to accept the fact that no physical rape happened.

The policeman-boyfriend, too, can claim he was mentally raped.

Weird and Extreme / Re: What is Elephantiasis?
June 26, 2007, 06:30:18 AM
Is there a cure of this disease?

Tubag Bohol roundworms are already lodged in my mind.
My yearning for this site is getting larger and larger every day.
A mosquito who first bit an infected blogger has bitten me, too, when I received the invitation.
There are those whose infection developed faster than the others and became hero members in record time.
Now, everybody wants to contract this  Elephantiasis of the Tubagus Boholus strain.

Had we been classmates, we could've altered reproduction from sexual to mental contact. You are very capable of this, my GEC. Words have the power to create its own reality.

Bullseye, my lil red rose that cannot wither.

You have a fertile mind...
and your words are capable of double
(even triple and beyond) meanings.

Yes, mental reproduction would inevitably
result from the intercourse of ideas.
The exitement of exploring each other's
body of arguments on the subject and
the erection of discussion parameters will
penetrate into a deeper understanding
of human nature.

Ideas need to be tested by pushing deeply
the argument and pulling out gently the response
of the other party.
A long foreplay of research and preparation
will result to a more prolonged and heightened
multiple breakthrough of academic enlightenment.

Tubag Bohol becomes what

of its members -- and the thoughts
that they share.

Among us, we have brickshapers,
bricklayers, post erectors, painters,
sculptors, decorators and other
workers of this magnifecent
edifice we are building.

And there are those who just
admire the work in progress...
Browsing... reading...
giggling... pondering...
and ever edging forward,
induced, seduced to
pick up their work tools and
speak their mind... knowing
that we are here
                        to listen.

Have fun, Marlou!  ;)

GEC,

You are leaving me speechless and in so much awe. Not too many people have this stunning effect on me. You do!

I'm a frustrated photographer, a sucker for amazing subjects. You must know why I chose the red siamese fighting fish to represent the Rose. I didn't choose that for the sake of just that. There's always a story both implied and stated underneath my choices.

Red because it's the color for love and prosperity which I am enjoying in so much bliss.
Fighting because I have so much history and background in fighting over my principles (The article will be out soon!)
Siamese because I'm now based in Bangkok whose name was originally Siam.
Fish because I could swim in the water, land, and even in the air.

And the clincher: The thought of how fighting fish reproduces is unthinkable. I could imagine just looking through the eyes of love and whoa, I could already come in multiples! If the bubbles do the work for the fish, mine would be the eye magnet.

Your lil red fighting fish

Gee, you are deep.

So, should I address you as "Your lil red fighting fish"? Or,
"MY lil red fighting fish"?

"Remember, when you drink, don't drive. When you drive, don't drink... moderately."

Humpty Dumpty Sat on a Wall
Humpty Dumpty Had a Great Fall
     And all the King's Horses
     And all the King's Men
     Could not put Humpty Dumpty
     Together again.

This seemingly senseless nursery rhyme
suddenly found meaning in 1986 after the
fall of the Marcos regime.

From Alfredo Navarro Salangga:
No tree lives without dying
No tree lives without touching
                                        the sky.

From an old Russion proverb:
Even the trees die standing

From Lex Luther, Superman the movie:
It is not enough that I succeed. Everyone else must fail.

Anonymous Diary Blog / Bambam bodie & bambam bodero
June 17, 2007, 08:21:02 PM
I was a freshman in college when a senior was singing this song with his trusty guitar:

I am a young caballero
I'm on my way to Taclobo
I bought with me my bambam bodie
And both of my bambam bodero

I went to a gay town fiesta
And met a lovely seniorita
She wanted to see my bambam bodie
And both of my bambam bodero

I took her to my hacienda
And laid her on a sofalita
And showed her the tip of my bambam bodie
And both of my bambam bodero

That daughter of a bitch seniorita
Gave me a dose of syphillisa
Which rotten the tip of my bambam bodie
And one of my bambam bodero

I went to see Dr. Florendo
He has a sharp scalpeleto
And cut off the tip of my bambam bodie
And one of my bambam bodero

Each night as I lay on my pillow
I thought I reached the end of my will-o
For all I have left is a handful of hair
And one of my bambam bodero

Since today is father's day, we can put it this way:

A loving chastisement from a father (the voters) to a gifted child (manny) so the child shall be kept on the right path.
#1883
Those who did not vote for Manny actually LOVE him so much, that they could not afford to seem him distracted as a boxer.

The Open Secret board would "shock" the readers, right.
What you are hinting is a shocker.

Frankly, a heapful of instant coffee tastes better for me than Bo's plain brewed

Oh yes pala. We have a princess dagat...
She can revolutionize our shipping industry

Where have I read this before?

I wish you fair weather ans a safe harbor

I'm sure princessdagat can give so much more.

I agree. But what turns me off a bit is their policy that you can't bring in food-snacks unless they are purchased at the cinema foodstall-- and the price there is monstruously excessive than the price at the grocery store below.   :(

Ha ha. Hopefully naay ipadala nga Sea Reyna !

Ow? Too bad. Who was their last president?
#1890
Hmmm, let me remember... sa tourist accommodation and higher I think libre ra. Hope my memory is right.

Panawagan sa mga makabasa nga adunay connection sa management sa Chocolate Hills Complex:

Palihug intawon and atong CR diha... Limi-on pud intawon nato
Aron dili ta mauwawan sa mga bisita.

Daghang salamat.

Now that I have excreted that pent-up emotion, I don't feel constipated anymore. ;)

Ow, mahjong in front of brewpoint?
I seldom go to Brewpoint (because of the location) so I didn't notice.
Couldn't they just do this in another place more secluded? The mahjong thing, I mean... not the place to drink coffee -- secluded as it is already.

Oh, I can do that but then, I will have to let them know these comments come from GEC, and who GEC is, he he he

Those were the good old days, mike. For me, Sea Angels service was even way better than SuperCat. S-Cat crew were too commercial ang dating, perfunctory, but courteous naman.

Sa Sea Angels, I felt like a prince... the crew were warm, they have a reassuring aura that all they want is to please me... I felt it was like flying first class on an international flight in an a Southeast Asian airline.

They have made improvements. It's safe, clean enough.
But they have to check, too, under the mattres. When I put on the bed sheet, I don't just spread it on the cot. I lift the mattress to tuck in the edge of the bed sheet for a snug fit --  and that when I sometimes discover some liter underneath.

Overall, however, good.

I don't have much money to play with
But I hope they will approve my housing loan, LOL  ;D

Ah yes, we I say "well-maintained" CRs here... they are still way below from the standard of our neighboring countries.

Perhaps the local chamber of commerce could award their members for keeping and upscaling their CRs for the customers... a rating system, so to speak.

Brewpoint.... good brews
But the view around the area needs much to be desired if you just intend to pass the while away.
Better to stay inside and do the deal there...

I try to stay away from Ocean Jet as much as possible.
I am forced to take it when there is no other vessel that
could meet my schedule.
Something's not right with the smell inside the cabin, the sound of the engine is arrogantly intrusive.
While its crew try their best to be charming, nothing beats the crew (especially those ladies) of the erstwhile Sea Angels of Negros Navigation (remember St. Raphael, St. Michael, and the rest?).

Good enough for a first true mall ever established in Bohol...
Hope more concessrionaires could be added at the food court to expand choices.
Comfort room are well maintained.
