Hardware and Gadgets / SSD vs NVME
January 23, 2024, 09:37:48 AM
SSD and NVMe are two different terms that are often used to describe storage devices. SSD stands for solid-state drive, which is a type of data storage medium that uses flash memory and has no moving parts. NVMe stands for non-volatile memory express, which is a protocol that allows SSDs to communicate with the computer faster and more efficiently.

The main difference between SSD and NVMe is the interface they use to connect to the computer. SSDs can use either SATA or PCIe interfaces, while NVMe drives use only PCIe interfaces. SATA is an older and slower interface that was originally designed for hard disk drives, while PCIe is a newer and faster interface that was designed for expansion cards.

The speed difference between SSD and NVMe depends on the type of interface and the performance of the individual models. Generally speaking, NVMe drives are faster than SATA SSDs, because they can transfer more data in a shorter time. According to some benchmarks²³, NVMe drives can reach sequential read/write speeds of up to 3,500/3,200 MB/s, while SATA SSDs typically reach speeds around 550/520 MB/s. However, not all NVMe drives are the same, and some may have lower speeds or higher latency than others. The speed difference also depends on the generation of PCIe interface, as PCIe 4.0 can offer twice the bandwidth of PCIe 3.0².

The speed difference between SSD and NVMe may not be noticeable for everyday tasks, such as web browsing or document editing, but it can make a significant difference for applications that require high-performance and low-latency storage, such as gaming, video editing, or data analysis. NVMe drives are also more suitable for smaller and thinner devices, such as laptops or tablets, because they have a smaller form factor and do not require any cables. However, NVMe drives are also more expensive than SATA SSDs, due to their advanced technology and higher performance. Therefore, the choice between SSD and NVMe depends on the user's needs, budget, and system compatibility.

Workplace & Productivity / What a Billionaire Says
January 22, 2024, 06:52:49 PM
A MULTI BILLIONAIRE SAYS :

If someone invites you to start a business, join the business, even if you don't know how to do it yet. Be patient and learn the process, gradually and relentlessly. Remain there even if it takes you five years to be successful in it, because... when the benefits begin to flow, you will NEVER be the same person ever again!

People don't have the patience to build a business for 3 years. But... they have the patience to go to work for 40 years!

It's crazy how some people feel that 3-5 years in a business is a long time to get rich. However don't feel that 40 years at a job is a long time to stay broke!

CHANGE YOUR MINDSET!

Facts and Trivia / Sheep's Blood is Ant-Venom of Snake
January 22, 2024, 01:56:05 PM
"A rattlesnake bit one of my sheep in the face about a week ago. Deadliest snake that lives around here. The sheep's face swelled up and hurt her terribly.
But the old rattlesnake didn't know the kind of blood that flows through the sheep. Anti-venom is most often made from sheep's blood. The sheep swelled for about 2 days but the blood of the lamb destroyed the venom of the serpent.
I was worried but the sheep didn't care. She kept on eating, kept on drinking and kept on climbing because she knew she was alright.
Don't worry about the serpent or his bite, just make sure that the Lamb's Blood is flowing through your veins."

Inspiration & Hope / 42 lessons life taught me
January 20, 2024, 03:04:53 PM
Written by a 90 year old!!
42 lessons life taught me

It is something we should all read at least once a week! Make sure you read to the end!

Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland, Ohio.

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 42 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.

3. Life is too short – enjoy it..

4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will.

5. Pay off your credit cards every month.

6. You don't have to win every argument. Stay true to yourself.

7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.

8. Save for retirement starting with your first pay check.

9. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.

10. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.

11. It's OK to let your children see you cry.

12. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

13. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it...

14 Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.

15. Get rid of anything that isn't useful. Clutter weighs you down in many ways.

16. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.

17. It's never too late to be happy. But it's all up to you and no one else.

18. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.

19. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.

20. Over prepare, then go with the flow.

21. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.

22. The most important sex organ is the brain.

23. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.

24. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'

25. Always choose life.

26. Forgive but don't forget.

27. What other people think of you is none of your business.

28. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.

29. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

30. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does..

31. Believe in miracles.

32. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.

33. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.

34. Your children get only one childhood.

35. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.

36. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere. (I love this one)

37. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.

38. Envy is a waste of time. Accept what you already have not what you need.

39. The best is yet to come...

40. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

41. Yield.

42. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

Lets have a great FB friends!!!!

Hong Kong's richest man, Li Ka-shing, is suspected of being seriously ill and wrote the "Sunset Ballad" on his bed! He regrets that many things are realized too late.

He is 92 years old

Had been the richest man for many years

He was a workaholic, famous entrepreneur

Only announced his retirement in 2018

After retirement, he began to enjoy life

Now that he has free time, he wrote this "Sunset Ballard" to share with all retirees!

1、天定人生是个零,过方过圆都不行。从零开始走向零,顺其自然心态平。

We are born with nothing, no more and no less and finally to return to nothing. Be as natural, normal and at ease as possible.

2、晚年莫想富有余,来者糊涂走者迷。生前死后啥属你?应该醒悟莫骗己。

Don't aspire to acquire surplus wealth at sunset years. Those who have such intention are rather confused or crazy. Just consider what belongs to you before and after death. One has to wake up and stop fooling ourselves.

3、能知足,便常乐,晚年过的要快活。富莫喜,穷莫愁,顺其自然享自由。

Be contented. Have fun and enjoy the sunset years. Do not be exalted if you're rich neither too worried if poor. Take it along as naturally and savor the freedom.

4、莫强求,莫相争,人生如梦似烟云。天也空,地也空,人生渺茫在其中。

Don't forcibly demand, neither compete. Life is like a dream or fleeting cloud or smoke. Look at the vast and empty sky and land, we are just a tiny speck drifting within.

5、日也空,月也空,江水奔流永向东。田也空,房也空,不断更换主人翁。

The sun is empty so is the moon. River water forever flows eastward ( in China). Farm and house too are empty, continually changing owners.

6、爱也空,情也空,到头全进高烟囱。金也空,银也空,死后哪样握手中?

Love becomes naught, relationship too disappeared. Finally all will go into the crematorium. Even gold and silver, one does not grasp to take along after death.

7、名也空,利也空,双眼一闭美梦终。胜也空,败也空,人生如戏梦一通。

Reputation, honours and profits disappeared into sweet dreams once the eyes shut down for good. Whatever gains or losses dissipated, life is like a drama

8、官也空,权也空,无人一生坐朝中。富也空,穷也空,人生如此要想通。

No more minister status, no more the power that came with it. No one can remain in the ministry for life. Rich or poor, the final is void. That is nothingness when curtain of life drops, be aware of that.

9、春去夏来秋又冬,潮涨潮落永无终,看破红尘好心胸。家家有本难念经,莫把烦恼挂心中。

The four seasons will rotate, so will the high and low tides. Every family has certain difficult mantra to recite. Do not burden unnecessarily with worries.

10、养儿育女是义务,尽力帮衬乐其中。儿孙自有儿孙福,莫让儿女困笼中。只要晚年身体好,一生活在幸福中。

Raising and educating children are responsibility and duty. It is a blessing to be able to help. Children and grandchildren shall build their own future, do not be duty bound by them. It is far more a blessing to take good care of our own wellbeing during the sunset years.

11、朝到西,晚到东,世人如同采花蜂。采花酿蜜为谁甜,终生辛苦一场空。看得宽,想得通, 与世无争长寿翁。

Man hustle and bustle about earning a living like bees collecting honey. Just wonder the honey is made for whom, ever thought the life-long hard work will end up in naught. Be more liberal and accommodative, think rationally to avoid disputes.

12、远看医院像天堂,救人无数;近看医院像银行,敛财无数;走进医院是牢房,不如提前去预防!

From a distance hospitals are like heaven, curing so many patients. Viewing from close range hospitals are like banks raking in lot of cash. Getting inside the hospital is like getting into prison. It is far better to take preventive measure well in advance

13、健康是无形资产,保健是银行存款,疾病是贷款还款,大病会倾家荡产,莫把此言当调侃,待到真时悔已晚!

Health is an invisible asset, health enhancement is bank saving, contracting disease is bank loan and re-payment, serious illness can cause bankruptcy. These are earnest facts of life and to be regarded seriously. Do not let this happen, it will be too late to regret.

14、宁可站着自保健,绝不躺着被人骗!不养生就养医生,不保健就养医院!爱家人要爱自己,爱自己才是远见!

It is better to stand alone to enhance immunity rather than to lie down and be cheated. Love the family must start with loving own self. Loving own self is therefore a farsighted shot.

A life span is too short. Do not get bogged down with money worries. Tons of cash wouldn't buy a sun which doesn't set. Loads of silver and gold can't exchange lfor health. Life and death is fated and wealth too. If it has been fated (in our Ming 命) that we will be wealthy, it will be. But if it's fated otherwise, it is pointless to crave for it. A point worth reiterating is that the children and grandchildren will and should carve out the path for their future, there is no need to slog like buffalo and horse for them. A life span is really too short, it is advisable to take life plainly and light-heartedly. Fame and gain are just like drifting cloud, extravagance and luxury are momentary exuberance, in rapid glimpses of fleeting time, hair will turn grey to white, churning all past events into smoke and cloud, what for let them linger in the heart, to pester and bugger us deeper into the bull's horn.

送我们十个开心秘方
看开,想开,舍得,放下,
退让,宽容,理解,放弃,甘心,善良

Here are ten reminders for
a cheerful and meaningful life:-
Be open-minded, accommodative, generous, close (issue), retreat, forgive and forget, listen and understanding, let go, accept in good faith, conscience.

CTTO. Please feel free to share.

Inspiration & Hope / 13 Virtues of Benjamin Franklin
January 20, 2024, 10:49:14 AM
At age 20, while contemplating what he needed to do to develop a good character, Benjamin Franklin created a list of 13 virtues and thereafter sought to practice them in his daily life. Almost 300 years later, they are still commendable.

1. Temperance. Eat not to dullness; drink not to elevation.
2. Silence. Speak not but what may benefit others or yourself; avoid trifling conversation.
3. Order. Let all your things have their places; let each part of your business have its time.
4. Resolution. Resolve to perform what you ought; perform without fail what you resolve.
5. Frugality. Make no expense but to do good to others or yourself; i.e., waste nothing.
6. Industry. Lose no time; be always employed in something useful; cut off all unnecessary actions.
7. Sincerity. Use no hurtful deceit; think innocently and justly, and, if you speak, speak accordingly.
8. Justice. Wrong none by doing injuries, or omitting the benefits that are your duty.
9. Moderation. Avoid extremes; forbear resenting injuries so much as you think they deserve.
10. Cleanliness. Tolerate no uncleanliness in body, clothes, or habitation.
11. Tranquility. Be not disturbed at trifles, or at accidents common or unavoidable.
12. Chastity. Rarely use venery but for health or offspring, never to dullness, weakness, or the injury of your own or another's peace or reputation.
13. Humility. Imitate Jesus and Socrates.

Benjamin Franklin was born on January 17, 1706, three hundred eighteen years ago today.

Of course Franklin is not remembered for his chastity. With regard to the 12th virtue on his list, we might wonder how he interpreted "rarely" and "but for health."

The portrait of Franklin is by the French painter Joseph-Siffred Duplessis and is in the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh.

Inspiration & Hope / 10 Lessons on Financial Education
January 20, 2024, 04:16:42 AM
10 Lessons from the book "Second Chance" For Your Money, Your Life and Our World by Robert Kiyosaki and Tim Wheeler.

1. The world is changing, and we need to change with it. The Industrial Age is over, and the Information Age is moving at an ever-increasing pace. The old rules of money and investing no longer apply. If we want to succeed in the new world, we need to learn new ways of thinking and acting.

2. The key to success is to understand the difference between assets and liabilities.
An asset is something that puts money in your pocket. A liability is something that takes money out of your pocket. If you want to be rich, you need to focus on acquiring assets and getting rid of liabilities.

3. The rich don't work for money; money works for them. The rich use their money to make more money. They invest in assets that generate income, such as real estate, stocks, and businesses. The poor work for money and spend it as they earn it.

4. You need to be financially educated to succeed in the new world. Financial education is the most important skill you can have in the new world. It will teach you how to make money, save money, and invest money. Without financial education, you are doomed to fail financially.

5. You need to be a creative thinker to succeed in the new world. The new world is full of opportunities, but you need to be creative to find them. You need to be able to think outside the box and come up with new solutions to old problems.

6. You need to be a risk-taker to succeed in the new world. The new world is full of risks, but you need to be willing to take risks to succeed. If you're not willing to take risks, you'll never achieve your full potential.

7. You need to be persistent to succeed in the new world. The new world is full of setbacks, but you need to be persistent to succeed. If you give up at the first sign of trouble, you'll never achieve your goals.

8. You need to be a lifelong learner to succeed in the new world. The new world is constantly changing, so you need to be a lifelong learner. You need to be constantly learning new things and adapting to new challenges.

9. You need to be a global thinker to succeed in the new world. The new world is a global economy, so you need to be a global thinker. You need to understand the different cultures and markets around the world.

10. You need to be a positive thinker to succeed in the new world. The new world is full of challenges, but you need to be a positive thinker to succeed. If you have a negative attitude, you'll never achieve your goals.

Family & Parenting / Poison That Kills Men
January 16, 2024, 07:00:37 PM
POISON THAT KILLS MEN

Once upon a time a beautiful girl got tired of her marriage life and wanted to murder her spouse.

One morning she ran to her mother and say to her " mother, I am tired of my husband I can no longer support his nonsense. I want to kill him but I am afraid Law of the land  will hold me responsible, can you please help me mother?"

The mother answered:

- Yes my daughter I can help you, but,  there is  a little task attached.

The daughter asked "what task? I am willing and ready to assume any task attached in order to get him out"

OK, said the mother,

1..You will have to make peace with him, so that no one will suspect you when he is dead.

2.. You will have to beautify yourself in order  to look young and attractive to him

3.. You have to take good care of him and be very nice and appreciative to him

4.. You have to be patient, loving and less jealous, have more listening ears, be more respectful and obedient

5. Spend your money for him and don't get angry even when he don't give you money for whatever

6. Don't raise your voice against but encourage Peace and love so that you will never be suspected when he must have died.

Can you do all of that?
Asked the mother.
Yes i can. She replied
OK, said the mother.

Take this powder and pour a bit in his every day meal, it will slowly kill him.

After 30 days the lady came back to her mother and said.

Mother, I have no intention of killing my husband again. As of now I have grown to love him more because he has completely changed, he is now a very ssweethusband than I ever imagined.

What can i do to stop the poison from killing him?

Please help me mother,

She pleaded in a sorrowful tone.

The mother answered;

Do not worry my daughter. What I gave you the other day was just Tumeric Powder. It will never kill him.

In reality, you were the poison that was slowly killing your husband with tension and dispassion.

It was  when you started loving, honouring and cherishing him,

Bible Study / Reinhard Bonnke on Proclaiming the Gospel
January 15, 2024, 09:44:06 PM
PUBLIC NOT PRIVATE.
Are we ashamed of the Gospel? Paul wasn't. He shaved his head to show that  he  had  made  a  vow  (Acts  21:24).  People  would  notice  that–a skinhead apostle. But HE WAS NOT ASHAMED! He had sworn an oath to do something for God! Why not we fire-baptized believers?

WHEN  THE  120  EMERGED  FROM  THE  UPPER  ROOM,  THEY  were different! They were sealed, changed and that change was noticeable. What do people look like who emerge from our churches on a Sunday morning? Suppose God's fire fell in a stadium during a Gospel crusade and everybody came out drunk with the Holy Spirit? The baptism in the Holy Spirit is NOT A PRIVATE MATTER! It is a PUBLIC EVENT! Glory to God!

Workplace & Productivity / Winning the War in your Mind
January 15, 2024, 06:39:43 AM
LESSONS from THE BOOK "WINNING THE WAR IN YOUR MIND"

Our thoughts have a powerful impact on our emotions, behaviours, and ultimately, our reality. When we focus on positive thoughts, we create a more positive outlook on life, which can lead to greater happiness, success, and resilience.

All of us have limiting beliefs that hold us back from achieving our goals. These beliefs are often based on past experiences or negative thoughts about ourselves. However, we can overcome these beliefs by challenging them and replacing them with more positive and empowering beliefs.

Self-discipline is the ability to control our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in order to achieve our goals. It is essential for success in any area of life. We can develop self-discipline by setting goals, making a plan, and taking action consistently.

Resilience is the ability to bounce back from setbacks and challenges. It is essential for dealing with the inevitable ups and downs of life. We can build resilience by learning from our mistakes, accepting responsibility for our actions, and staying positive in the face of adversity.

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment without judgment. It is a powerful tool for reducing stress, increasing self-awareness, and cultivating inner peace. We can cultivate mindfulness through meditation, yoga, and other practices.

Workplace & Productivity / Power of Habits
January 14, 2024, 11:50:55 PM
10 LESSONS FROM THE POWER OF HABITS by Charles Duhig.

Charles Duhigg's book "The Power of Habit" explores the science behind habits and how we can change them. Here are 10 key lessons from the book:

1. Habits are formed through a simple three-step loop: Cue, Routine and Reward.

The cue is the trigger that tells your brain to go into autopilot. The routine is the behavior that you automatically engage in. The reward is the positive feeling that you get from completing the routine.

2. You can change your habits by identifying the cue and routine and then finding a new reward. For example, if you want to stop biting your nails, you can identify the cue (feeling stressed) and routine (biting your nails) and then find a new reward (playing with a stress ball).

3. Keystone habits are habits that can trigger a chain reaction of other positive changes.

For example, if you start exercising regularly, you may also start eating healthier and getting more sleep.

4. Willpower is a limited resource.
The more you use it, the more it gets depleted. So it's important to save your willpower for the things that are most important to you.

5. You can create an environment that makes it easier to form good habits and harder to form bad ones. For example, if you want to start exercising, you can keep your workout clothes out in the morning so you're more likely to put them on.

6. Habits are contagious. We are more likely to adopt the habits of the people we spend time with. So if you want to change your habits, you may need to change your social circle.

7. Organizations can use the science of habits to create lasting change. For example, companies can use keystone habits to improve employee productivity.

8. Belief is a key ingredient in habit change. If you don't believe that you can change your habits, you're less likely to succeed.

9. Small wins are essential for habit change. When you celebrate your small wins, you reinforce the positive behavior and make it more likely that you'll stick with it.

10. Habit change is a journey, not a destination. It takes time and effort to change your habits, so don't get discouraged if you don't see results immediately. Just keep at it and you will eventually reach your goals.

8 Lessons from Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It

1. Stop Seeking and Start Being: We often spend our lives chasing external validation and happiness, neglecting our own inner worth. Ravikant urges us to shift our focus from seeking to being, actively cultivating self-love and acceptance.

2. Forgive Yourself: Everyone makes mistakes, but holding onto guilt and self-blame only hinders our progress. Learn to forgive yourself for past missteps and embrace the present moment with an open heart.

3. Appreciate Your Uniqueness: We all possess unique talents, qualities, and experiences that make us special. Instead of comparing ourselves to others, learn to appreciate our own individuality and celebrate our strengths.

4. Don't Fear Failure: Failure is an inevitable part of life, and it can be a valuable teacher. Don't let the fear of failure hold you back from taking risks and pursuing your dreams.

5. Invest in Yourself: Just like you would invest in your physical health, invest in your emotional and mental well-being. Prioritize self-care practices like meditation, exercise, and spending time in nature.

6. Set Healthy Boundaries: Setting healthy boundaries in relationships is crucial for protecting your energy and well-being. Learn to say no when needed and communicate your needs assertively.

7. Let Go of What Doesn't Serve You: Sometimes, we hold onto unhealthy relationships, habits, or beliefs that drain our energy and happiness. Learn to let go of what no longer serves you and make space for things that align with your authentic self.

8. Live with Gratitude: Focusing on what you're grateful for can shift your perspective and cultivate happiness. Take time each day to appreciate the good things in your life, big and small.

Facts and Trivia / Jeddah Tower is World's Tallest
January 14, 2024, 07:08:51 AM
Under construction in Saudi Arabia, the Jeddah Tower, also known as Kingdom Tower, is on track to surpass the Burj Khalifa as the world's tallest building, with an anticipated height exceeding 1,000 meters.

In 2010, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai set unprecedented records, soaring to a height of 828 meters and claiming the title of the world's tallest building.

Guinness World Records acknowledges that the Jeddah Tower, projected to exceed 1,000 meters (1 km; 3,281 ft), has the potential to redefine the global skyline upon completion.

Developed by the Jeddah Economic Company, this towering structure is conceived as a comprehensive complex, featuring luxury residences, office spaces, serviced apartments, and high-end condominiums. Notably, it is set to house the "world's highest observatory," adding to its list of groundbreaking features.

Although the University of Tokyo Atacama Observatory currently holds a different altitude record, the Jeddah Tower's ambitious design and estimated $1.23 billion cost position it as a formidable contender to surpass the Burj Khalifa.

Located in north Jeddah as part of a massive $20 billion mega-project, construction on this architectural masterpiece resumed in 2023 after a five-year hiatus. The uncertainty surrounding its completion date heightens anticipation, as its proposed size and amenities present a significant challenge to the Burj Khalifa's record reign.

By age 35 You should be smart enough to realize this:

1.. Stay silent. Not everything needs to be said.

2.. Silence is better than unnecessary drama.

3.. If you find someone smarter than you, work with them, don't compete. Competition is a weakness.

4.. The family you create is more important than the family you come from.

5.. Your current job doesn't care about you. They only pay you enough to kill your dreams.

6.. Free yourself from society's advice, most of them have no idea of what they're doing.

7.. Influence most people drift through life. They have no purpose, no direction, and zero intent. Learn their needs. Lead them.

8. It's better to have 1 friend who's;

Happy for you
Supports your win
Encourage your dreams
Than a bunch of acquittances who are

Lazy
Self-centered
Jealous of your success

9. You'll be 10x happier if you forgive your parents and stop blaming them.

10. No one will ever come save you. Your life is 100% your responsibility.

11.Your inner circle should be more focused on money, success, and starting a family.

12.You don't need 100 self-help books. All you need is actions and self-discipline.

Believe in your heart and soul that you are capable of big things in your life.

The only thing that is standing in your way is yourself.

Weird and Extreme / Underwater Mystery
January 11, 2024, 10:24:06 PM
One of the underwater mysteries that once puzzled experts was the discovery of strange drawings in the sand with almost perfect circular patterns found on the seabed off Japan. It took them a decade to find out why they originated and why they suddenly appeared and disappeared until they finally managed to discover it. The author of these amazing formations, almost 2 meters wide, was a newly discovered species of puffer fish measuring no more than 12 centimeters. Subsequent studies determined that they were ornate circles to attract mating partners. Males spend six weeks building these "crop circles" underwater just to mate for a few seconds. To make them, he gathers fine sand in mounds and decorates them with seashells he finds. If he is lucky, the willing female will stand in the center of the circle to indicate approval for mating. If not, the ocean current will carry away his work of art.
Nature will never cease to fascinate us.

10 Lessons from Warren Buffett's Management Secrets: Proven Tools for Personal and Business Success by Mary Buffett and David Clark

This book delves into the management principles that made Warren Buffett one of the most successful investors of all time. Here are 10 key lessons you can glean from it:

1. People First, Profits Second: Prioritize building a strong team with integrity, talent, and passion. Trustworthy and capable people drive long-term success more than short-term profits.

2. Invest in Long-Term Value: Focus on businesses with strong fundamentals and sustainable competitive advantages. Don't chase quick fads or fleeting trends.

3. Be a Rational Optimist: Believe in the potential for future growth while remaining grounded in reality. Avoid both excessive cynicism and unrealistic expectations.

4. Delegate and Empower: Trust your team to make decisions and execute effectively. This fosters ownership, initiative, and innovation.

5. Embrace Simplicity: Avoid unnecessary complexity and bureaucracy. Clear communication, concise processes, and focused decision-making are key.

6. Think in Circles, Not Straight Lines: Expect setbacks and be prepared to adapt. Business success rarely follows a smooth linear path; embrace flexibility and resilience.

7. Learn from Mistakes: View setbacks as learning opportunities, not failures. Analyze what went wrong, adapt your approach, and move forward stronger.

8. Communication is Key: Communicate clearly, openly, and honestly with your team, partners, and stakeholders. Transparency builds trust and fosters collaboration.

9. Patience is a Virtue: Don't expect instant results. Building sustainable success takes time, discipline, and consistent effort.

10. Live by Your Values: Align your business decisions and personal conduct with your core values. Integrity and ethical behavior are crucial for long-term success and personal fulfillment.

Remember, while Warren Buffett's specific strategies may not translate directly to every situation, the underlying principles of integrity, trust, long-term perspective, and people-centric leadership offer valuable guidance for anyone seeking to achieve success in business and life.

Anonymous Diary Blog / Bryan Anderson Story
January 11, 2024, 09:41:09 AM
READ THIS SHORT STORY
     " What goes around comes around "
One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.
Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry. He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was those chills which only fear can put in you. He said, "I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson."
Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.
As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.
Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.
He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, "And think of me."
He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.
A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan.
After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.
There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: "You don't owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you."
Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.
Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard....
She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, "Everything's going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson."
There is an old saying "What goes around comes around."

You aren't paid according to how hard you work, you are paid according to how hard you are to replace.

They say nobody is indispensable. Yet, organizations go to great lengths to retain employees who are seen as critical for their operations.

So, how do you make yourself indispensable at work? How do you grow in places never thought you would?

1. Do work that matters. Make your manager's priorities your priorities. A good boss is better than a good company. A good boss is hard to find and is the biggest factor in your career sucess. Employees who want a boss that looks out for them also have to do their part - a boss who doesn't trust you won't give you opportunities to grow.

2. Develop deep expertise in tasks that are critical for the organisation. Be so good that people have to work with you. You will have the chance when somebody who already has a unique skill leaves the company, and you step in to replace them. Or it will happen when a new initiative requires skill the company has never before had. Step out of your comfort zone and start doing stuff you have never done before. You cannot grow unless you take up new challenges.

3. Build Relationships at all levels. Be a friend to everyone, say hello, smile, and do not let in your heart a grudge against anyone. Hard skills get you hired, but soft skills get you promoted. Get along with all kinds of people irrespective of whether you like them or not. Relationships are important because the more supporters you have, the more you can get done in the organization. We rise faster by lifting each other up (rather than stepping on each other to go up). Your network is your networth. Your network can open doors for you. Build your network before you need it.

4. Conquer yourself. Don't blame others for your failure. Blaming others is a subconcious mechanism to avoid responsibility and avoid some truths about yourself. Your success or failure in life or at work isn't about other people. It's your procrastination and excuses. You won't grow when you blame others. Success happens when you grow yourself, not outgrow others. Winners focus on winning, losers focus on winners. Obstacles are often a stepping stone to make you stronger - the more of them you overcome, the stronger you become. When you are no longer able to change a situation, change yourself. Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.

5. Start now. Stress comes from ignoring things that you should not be ignoring. Break down a tedious task and start small. Don't wait to be in the mood to do a certain task. Motivation follows action. Get started, and you will find your motivation.

Inspiration & Hope / 7 Traits to Become More Respected
January 11, 2024, 06:07:33 AM
BECOME A MORE RESPECTED PERSON JUST BY APPLYING THESE 7 TRAITS:

1. Never let anyone hear you complain.

Your feelings are irrelevant. Do what needs to be done with a smile on your face.

2. Act with irrational self-belief.

It doesn't matter if other people think you can't do it, because you KNOW you can. Ignore their opinions. You're capable of doing anything.

3. Admit when you're wrong.

You don't know everything. Own up to your mistakes as quickly as possible, as it's the fastest way for you to learn. Progress is made through iteration. Iterate.

4. Honor your commitments.

If you say you're going to do something, hold yourself accountable. Your reputation is the only thing you have. Be a person of your word.

5. Take yourself seriously.

You'll never be able to demonstrate your value without intent. Your desires mean everything to you. Stop at nothing to attain them.

6. Control your emotions.

Your emotions cloud your judgment. People will look to you for guidance and leadership. Don't react. Be decisive.

7. Influence.

Most people drift through life. They have no purpose, no direction, and zero intent. Learn their needs. Lead them.

Lifestyle, Culture and Arts / How to Manage Yourself
January 10, 2024, 01:28:41 PM
MANAGING ONESELF

7 POWERFUL LESSONS FROM THE BOOK "MANAGING ONESELF" BY PETER F. DRUCKER

1. Know Your Strengths and Weaknesses: Conduct a self-assessment to identify your key strengths, weaknesses, and values. This understanding allows you to leverage your strengths, mitigate weaknesses, and make career choices aligned with your values.

2. Set Effective Goals: Define clear, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals for yourself. This provides direction and motivation to focus your efforts and achieve desired outcomes.

3. Manage Your Time Effectively: Prioritize tasks based on their importance and urgency, delegate effectively, and minimize distractions. This ensures you focus on the most impactful activities and avoid wasting time.

4. Make Decisions Effectively: Develop a decision-making framework that considers key factors like information, time constraints, potential consequences, and your values. This helps you make informed choices and avoid impulsiveness.

5. Continuously Learn and Develop: Dedicate time to learning new skills and knowledge that enhance your competence and adaptability. This keeps you relevant in your field and opens up new opportunities.

6. Take Care of Yourself: Prioritize your physical and mental well-being through healthy habits, exercise, and stress management. A healthy you is more productive, resilient, and able to handle challenges.

7. Contribute to Society: Find ways to use your skills and talents to make a positive impact on your community or the world. This provides a sense of purpose and fulfillment beyond personal goals.

1. Pyramids are not tombs; no mummy has ever been found inside the pyramid. All mummies were found in the kings valley.

2. How the hell do you cut 20 ton blocks of granite with extreme precision and lift them one on top of the other, in the "king's chamber", with WOODEN RAMPS !!

3. Let's say wooden ramps were used; you need to cut down a whole forest in order to provide wood to move 2.3 MILLION blocks of huge stones. Where the hell is the evidence for that wood?

4. There is not a single hieroglyphic text that says ancient Egyptians built the pyramids.

5. How many "slaves" or workers do you need to quarry, cut and lift 2.3 MILLION stones? Where the hell do you find people who can laser cut and lift huge tons of granite?

6. How do you position the whole pyramid to face true north, 4000 years ago when the builders "didn't know about the WHEEL" ? (That's the bias of mainstream egyptologists).

7. The top of the pyramid is a quarter of an inch off center (base of the pyramid); that's after placing 2.3 million blocks of stone. When you divide that tiny margin of error by 2.3 million stones, the accuracy at which the stones were placed is unparalleled and has never been done by modern architects with all modern technology.

8. What about all the megalith structures around the world? Why were they building the same geometry with almost the same techniques? What about the pyramids of Japan, found underwater !?

Conclusion: 90% of Human history was buried by time, the other 10% is written by the victors.

NO it's not aliens. Just Advanced Ancient Human Tech.

Inspiration & Hope / This Book Will Make You Dangerous
January 07, 2024, 11:56:17 AM
7 powerful lessons from the book "This Book Will Make You Dangerous"

1. Ditch the script and rewrite your own story: Don't follow the conventional path just because it's expected. Define your own desires, values, and goals, and actively chart your own course in life. Embrace the "dangerous" side of nonconformity.

2. Challenge your fears and push past your comfort zone: Fear is a natural obstacle, but letting it control you stunts your growth. Learn to identify your fears, understand their triggers, and develop strategies to conquer them. Step outside your comfort zone regularly to cultivate resilience and unlock your full potential.

3. Unleash your inner "warrior": Embrace a proactive and assertive approach to life. Take responsibility for your decisions and actions, own your power, and face challenges head-on. Don't wait for opportunities to fall into your lap – actively pursue them with dedication and courage.

4. Master your emotions and build mental resilience: Emotional intelligence is key to navigating life's ups and downs. Understand your emotions, learn healthy coping mechanisms, and develop mental toughness to overcome setbacks and navigate challenges with poise.

5. Forge meaningful connections and build a strong tribe: Surround yourself with supportive, uplifting individuals who share your values and aspirations. Build genuine relationships, offer support in return, and learn from each other's experiences. A strong support system provides invaluable encouragement and accountability.

6. Prioritize your health and well-being: Physical and mental well-being are the foundations of a fulfilling life. Eat healthy, exercise regularly, prioritize sleep, and cultivate healthy habits that fuel your mind, body, and spirit. Don't neglect your self-care in the pursuit of other goals.

7. Never stop learning and expanding your horizons: Embrace a lifelong learning mindset. Continuously seek new knowledge, skills, and experiences. Read, explore, experiment, and challenge yourself to grow beyond your current limitations. This constant evolution keeps you engaged, adaptable, and relevant in a changing world.

Product Reviews / VPS vs Cloud Server
January 07, 2024, 11:50:21 AM
The difference and benefits of VPS vs cloud server are as follows:

- VPS hosting is a single physical server that is partitioned into multiple virtual servers, each with its own dedicated resources such as CPU, RAM, and storage. Cloud hosting is a network of servers that work together to provide resources as needed.
- VPS hosting offers more control and customization options than shared hosting, but it is limited by the physical resources of the server it is hosted on. Cloud hosting offers a highly scalable and flexible hosting environment, enabling businesses to quickly scale up or down resources based on their needs.
- VPS hosting tends to be more affordable than cloud hosting, as you only pay for what you use and don't have to worry about over-provisioning or paying for unused resources. Cloud hosting typically delivers higher reliability and performance due to its distributed architecture and automatic failover and redundancy features.
- VPS hosting is recommended for those who just want to host a website or a web app with moderate resource requirements and predictable traffic. Cloud hosting is ideal for those who need to handle unpredictable workloads, ensure high availability and uptime, and access advanced security and functionality features.

To redirect your website visitors from HTTP to HTTPS, you need to do the following steps:

- Obtain an SSL certificate for your site from a trusted certificate authority. This will encrypt the communication between your site and the visitors, and also verify your site's identity and security.
- Configure your web server to use the SSL certificate and enable HTTPS. The exact method depends on your web server software and hosting provider. You can check their documentation for more details.
- Set up a redirect rule in your web server configuration or .htaccess file to send all HTTP requests to HTTPS. This will ensure that your visitors always use the secure version of your site. There are different ways to write the redirect rule, depending on your web server software and preferences. Here are some examples from the web search results¹²³⁴⁵:

    - For Apache, you can use mod_rewrite to rewrite the URL with HTTPS:

        ```apache
        RewriteEngine On
        RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !on
        RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI}
        ```

    - For IIS, you can use the <httpRedirect> element to specify the destination URL with HTTPS:

        ```xml
        <configuration>
          <system.webServer>
            <httpRedirect enabled="true" destination="https://www.example.com" />
          </system.webServer>
        </configuration>
        ```

    - For Nginx, you can use the return directive to redirect the request with HTTPS:

        ```nginx
        server {
          listen 80;
          server_name www.example.com;
          return 301 https://example.com$request_uri;
        }
        ```

- Update your internal links, sitemaps, and canonical tags to use HTTPS instead of HTTP. This will help your site's SEO and avoid mixed content issues.
- Verify the HTTPS version of your site in Google Search Console and submit your updated sitemap. This will inform Google about your redirect and help your site's ranking.

Book Reviews / Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare
January 04, 2024, 10:14:42 PM
"Julius Caesar" is a famous tragedy written by William Shakespeare. It is set in ancient Rome and revolves around the political conspiracy to assassinate Julius Caesar, a powerful Roman leader. Here's a brief summary:

The play begins with Caesar's triumphant return to Rome after defeating Pompey in a civil war. Many senators, including Cassius and Brutus, are concerned about Caesar's growing power and influence. They plot to assassinate him to prevent him from becoming a tyrant.

Brutus, a close friend of Caesar, is convinced by Cassius and others that Caesar's ambition poses a threat to Rome's republican government. Despite his loyalty to Caesar, Brutus joins the conspiracy. They carry out the assassination on the Ides of March, stabbing Caesar to death in the Senate.

After Caesar's murder, chaos ensues in Rome. Antony, Caesar's loyal friend, delivers a powerful funeral speech that turns public opinion against the conspirators. Civil war erupts between the supporters of Brutus and Cassius and those of Antony and Octavius Caesar (Julius Caesar's nephew).

The play culminates in the Battle of Philippi, where Brutus and Cassius are defeated and commit suicide. Antony and Octavius emerge victorious, and the play ends with a sense of impending doom for Rome's republic.

"Julius Caesar" explores themes of ambition, betrayal, political manipulation, and the consequences of power. It remains a classic in Shakespearean literature and is often studied for its complex characters and political intrigue.

Analysis:
Here's a brief analysis of some key aspects of "Julius Caesar":

1. **Ambition and Power:** The play revolves around the theme of ambition and its consequences. Julius Caesar's ambition for absolute power and the conspirators' fear of his tyranny drive the plot. Ambition leads both Caesar and Brutus to their tragic ends.

2. **Betrayal and Loyalty:** The characters in the play grapple with questions of loyalty and betrayal. Brutus, in particular, is torn between his loyalty to Caesar and his love for Rome, ultimately choosing to betray his friend for what he believes is the greater good.

3. **Political Manipulation:** Shakespeare portrays the art of political manipulation throughout the play. Characters like Cassius and Antony use rhetoric and persuasion to influence the masses and achieve their goals. Antony's famous funeral oration is a prime example of this.

4. **Fate and Free Will:** The play raises questions about fate and free will. Characters like Caesar and Brutus seem to be driven by destiny, while others like Cassius and Antony exercise their free will to manipulate events. This tension between fate and choice adds depth to the narrative.

5. **Tragic Hero:** Brutus can be seen as the tragic hero of the play. His noble intentions, internal conflict, and eventual downfall make him a classic tragic figure. His actions are driven by a sense of honor and duty, but they lead to tragedy.

6. **Symbolism:** Symbolism is prevalent in the play. The soothsayer's warning, the storm on the night before Caesar's assassination, and the appearance of Caesar's ghost all contribute to a sense of foreboding and supernatural elements.

7. **Mob Mentality:** The play also explores the fickleness of the Roman populace. The same crowd that cheers for Caesar in one moment turns against the conspirators after Antony's speech. This highlights the danger of relying on public opinion in politics.

8. **Historical Context:** Shakespeare's play reflects the political turmoil of his own time, as well as the historical events of ancient Rome. It can be seen as a commentary on the instability of political power and the consequences of political intrigue.

Overall, "Julius Caesar" is a complex exploration of power, morality, and the human condition. It delves into the moral dilemmas faced by its characters and raises timeless questions about the nature of leadership and the consequences of political actions.

Internet and World Wide Web / Centos Linux Discontinued
January 04, 2024, 02:32:01 PM
CentOS Linux was a free and community-supported version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), a popular enterprise operating system. However, in 2020, Red Hat announced that it would shift its focus to CentOS Stream, a rolling-release distribution that serves as a testing ground for future RHEL updates. This decision effectively ended the development and support of CentOS Linux, which many users relied on for stable and secure servers. The last version of CentOS Linux, CentOS 8, will reach its end of life (EOL) on December 31, 2021.

There are several reasons why Red Hat made this change, such as aligning its resources with its business goals, increasing its innovation and feedback cycles, and reducing the confusion and fragmentation in the Linux ecosystem. However, many CentOS Linux users were unhappy and disappointed with this move, as they felt betrayed and abandoned by Red Hat. Some of them have migrated or are planning to migrate to other RHEL-compatible alternatives, such as AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Oracle Linux, or Ubuntu

Philippine History / Col. Vicente Kuelles Nunag, Jr
January 03, 2024, 03:57:34 PM
Col. Vicente Kuelles Nunag, Jr.
(Alias Captain Robin Hood)

Also dubbed as the "Lone Wolf" of the Bohol Guerilla Force against the invading Japanese Imperial Army. He was the second in command and the most trusted officer of Captain Vincente T. Cubero alias Francisco Salazar when they fought valiantly in Ubujan, Tagbilaran on October 22, 1942. Upon Salazar's death, he assumed command of the entire force. With Robin Hood as his nom de guerre (pseudonym), he conducted lighting raids against the Japanese at their garrison in Poblacion, Tagbilaran.

Col. Vicente K. Nunag, Jr. was born on January 24, 1920, in Tamparan, Lanao, to then Major Vicente Nunag, Sr. and Emilia Kuelles. His mother was a native of Valencia, Bohol.

The young Nunag was inducted into the United States Army Forces in the Far East (USAFFE) in Carmen, Bohol on March 27, 1942, Capt. Victoriano Blancas, was the Commanding Officer of the USAFFE forces in Bohol. Nunag who later became Combat Head of the "Behind the Clouds" troops in one of those who have survived the rigors of World War II to tell the story of the men who had vowed to fight for God and country.

When then Lieutenant Nunag was asked whether he would surrender under Proclamation No. 1, which gave all those who resisted against the enemy a chance to lay down their arms to the Japanese Imperial Army, Nunag answered a categorical No! Despite the strong supplication of his father, then Major Vicente Nunag, Sr. (became Colonel and PC Provincial Commander of Jolo) who was the Inspector of the Bureau of Constabulary in Cotabato. Nunag and his men continue to defy the enemy.

By July 16, 1942, Nunag had under him a few determined men that composed the famous Baang Guerilla Force in Balilihan, Bohol, which later fused with Capt. Francisco Salazar's force in "Behind the Clouds." The "Behind the Clouds" Force headquarters was in barrio Maitum, Balilihan (now under Catigbi‑an), Bohol.

On September 27, 1942, in Moalong, Loon, with Capt. Francisco Salazar and his men, against two truckloads of Japanese combat soldiers and constabulary men who were under orders to burn the towns of Calape, Tubigon, Clarin and Inabanga. Nunag caused one of the enemy trucks to turn and fall into the sea after he threw a hand grenade right smack on the driver's seat. Capt. Salazar, Lt. Nunag and their men annihilated the entire enemy on sight.

On October 22, 1942, in Ubujan, Tagbilaran, Nunag shot down the mustached Japanese Captain who was leading a combat column into the trap. He fought bravely in Ubujan, terminating the Japanese invaders, however, his commander Capt. Salazar died in the battle.

On November 20, 1942, Nunag was designated as Commanding Officer of "A" Company, 1st Battalion of the Bohol force under PMA graduate Lt. Urbano Caldoza with headquarters in Cortes, Bohol. On May 3, 1943, he was Commanding Officer of the whole 1st Batallion replacing Caldoza. Then, on January 1 until August 28, 1944, he was Executive Officer of the 84th Infantry under Major Sofio Bayron. His last stint with the Bohol Area Commanders was as Commanding Officer of the 85th Infantry Regiment in Calape, Bohol.

Nunag served as technical assistance on peace and order and warden of the Bohol Detention and Rehabilitation Center (BDRC) (now Bohol District Jail, BDJ) during Governor Constancio Torralba's administration. He was vice president of the World War II Bohol Historians Association.

Col. Vicente K. Nunag Jr., retired and never skipped the annual anniversary rites of the battles fought by the guerrilla forces in Bohol since 1997 until 2006, the year he died.

6 reasons why you should stop being too nice:

1:::You'll be taken for granted

People will begin to take you for granted if you are always nice and accommodating.
They'll come to expect you to always be there for them, and they won't appreciate you as much as they should.

2. You'll be used and abused in the end

Being overly nice frequently leads to people taking advantage of you.
They may begin to expect favors beyond what a normal friend would expect, or they may begin to expect you to always be available to them.

3. You'll always be the one who gives

If you're always the nice one, you'll always be the one who gives and never the one who receives.
This can cause resentment and make you feel as if you're being taken advantage of.

4. You'll miss out on opportunities

Saying YES to everything and being overly nice can frequently lead to you missing out an opportunities that could have been excellent for you.
You must learn to say NO from time to time in order to focus on the things that are truly important to you.

5. You'll never be respected

People will begin to perceive you as a pushover if you are always the nice guy.
They will not respect your opinion and will begin to walk all over you.

6. You'll get burned in the end.

People will begin the take advantage of your good nature if you are always the nice one.
They may begin the ask for favors that are beyond your comfort level, or they may begin to make demands on your time that you cannot possibly meet.

Internet and World Wide Web / Link a Page in HTML
January 01, 2024, 03:49:00 PM
To add a link to another page in HTML, you need to use the <a> tag with the href attribute. The href attribute specifies the URL of the page you want to link to. The link text is the part that will be visible to the user. For example, if you want to create a link to [Tutorial Republic](^2^), you can write:

html
Tutorial Republic
```
You can also use relative URLs to link to pages within the same website. For example, if you have a page called contact.html in the same folder as your current page, you can write:
```html
<a href="contact.html">Contact Us</a>
```
You can also use the target attribute to specify where to open the linked page. For example, if you want to open the link in a new tab, you can write:
```html
<a href="https://www.tutorialrepublic.com/" target="_blank">Tutorial Republic</a>

Facts and Trivia / The Humility of Keanu Reeves
December 31, 2023, 12:59:52 PM
Keanu Charles Reeves missed the first 20 minutes of the party dedicated to the end of filming of his new film in one of the clubs in New York.
He waited patiently in the rain to be let in.
No one recognized him.
The club owner said: "I didn't even know Keanu was standing in the rain waiting to be let in - he didn't say anything to anyone."
"He travels by public transport".
"He easily communicates with homeless people on the street and helps them".
- He is only 56 years old (September 2, 1964)
- He can just eat a hot dog in the park, sitting between ordinary people.
- After filming one of the "Matrix", he gave all the stuntmen a new motorcycle - in recognition of their skill.
- He gave up most of the fee for the salaries of costume designers and computer scientists who draw special effects in "The Matrix" - decided that their share of participation in the budget of the film was underestimated.
- He reduced his fee in the film The Devil's Advocate" to have enough money to invite Al Pacino.
- Almost at the same time his best friend died; his girlfriend lost a child and soon died in a car accident, and his sister fell ill with leukemia.
Keanu did not break: he donated $ 5 million to the clinic that treated his sister, refused to shoot (to be with her), and created the Leukemia Foundation, donating significant sums from each fee for the film.
You can be born a man, but to remain one...

Bajau people of Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia were first recorded by Europeans when Venetian explorer Antonio Pigafetta met them in 1521 AD. These maritime nomadic people have been fishing and diving for many millennia and over that time they have evolved bigger spleens which allows them to dive for longer than the average human.

According to scientists :

"The bigger spleen makes more oxygen available in their blood for diving. Located close to the stomach, the fist-sized spleen removes old cells from the blood and acts as a biological scuba tank during long dives."

Bajau people can dive to depths of over 200 feet and hold their breath for 13 minutes. They can also walk across the seabed hunting fish. These people live most their lives at sea and are the first known humans genetically adapted to diving.

Boxing and Boxers / Canelo Alvarez vs Floyd Mayweather Jr
December 30, 2023, 07:41:01 AM
Canelo Alvarez was 23 years old when he fought Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2013. He was 13 years younger than Mayweather, who was 36 at the time. Canelo lost the fight by a 12-round majority decision and suffered his first and only professional defeat so far. He later said that he was too young and inexperienced to face Mayweather, and expressed his desire for a rematch. However, Mayweather has not shown any interest in fighting Canelo again.

Some additional sentences are:

- Canelo has since become one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, winning titles in four weight classes and defeating several top opponents.
- Mayweather retired from boxing in 2017, after beating Conor McGregor in a crossover bout. He has a perfect record of 50-0, with 27 knockouts.
- The fight between Canelo and Mayweather was billed as "The One" and generated a record-breaking 2.2 million pay-per-view buys and $150 million in revenue. It was also one of the most watched boxing events in history, with an estimated 40 million viewers in the US alone.
