Clean and eaten na mga cookies oi and yet still can't log out.  Beth is also experiencing the same.  Well, it doesn't bother me if I can't log out kay ako ra man gagamit sa akong laptop.

Earlier, Gemma called me that she couldn't log on to TB and she did clean up, close the computer, re log in to no avail.  Busa ingon na lang sya mo lakaw na lang sya mag eat sa Thai restaurant.  After a while pag check nko sa TB, naa naman si Gemma naka log in na.

Gi humbled jud ko ni Mommy kai ingoon siya nako, that when my I was a baby, when Angel was a baby, Don or Andre, when we had stuffy noses and could not breath, Daddy apparently woke up and took me and sucked the mucus and phlegm in my nose that prevented me from breathing. Mo suck siya ug iyang i luwa sa sink until my nose was cleared.

I remember crying when my mom told me that story, because Dad never told me he did that; nor did he ever talked about it openly. It was my mother that told me that Daddy did that. Not only for me, but for Angel, Don and Andre.

Now that I'm older I get very sensitive about these things and i can't help but shed a tear here and there thinking about it. Sure sometimes i wish my dad was more emotional with me or told me face to face that he loves me, but he does it in his own way. I have to constantly remind myslelf that Dad and Mom come from a totally different generation and a culture that isn't so open about giving the 'i love yous'. But you know, i wouldn't have it any other way.

Despite all the clashes I have with my Daddy, I love him so much. After all he is my 'senior' hahaha.



OT: Daddy Rico, if you read this, i want you to know that I love you. Proud ko to be your son, Daddy.

Piskot ka Dong you made me cry!  I know what your Mom was telling about your Dad sucking the mucus and phlegm in your nose so you can breath.  I couldn't imagine doing that but I bet our parents did that to relieve us from suffering.  Grabeh noh?  Nakahilak jud ko sa imong story Dong oi!

Ako, I had a very electric relationship with my Dad in my teenage years, pero as I grow older, I realize why he was the way he was. And as my father grows older, I cannot help but have a sense of mortality regarding my Daddy. It is when I realize that I don't want to loose my father and mother.

I agree with you, Dong.  My Dad when he was younger, he antagonized us especially when he was drunk.  He wanted us to massage him by stepping on his body even if we were tired already.  Mommy always rescued us though.  Daddy was also a gambler and whatever little money he had, he gambled that's was why sometimes we didn't have food.  But I never felt hatred to my father.  I always think of the time that when we were babies, he held us and kissed us.  He was so proud of us when we got medals or ribbons from school. He never did beat us but just one word from him and we behaved already. He was our friends' friend too!  He entertains our friends with his jokes and his songs.  And I am so proud of him that after more than 40 years of smoking, he finally stopped - like cold turkey, two years ago!  He is also now a very doting grandfather to my 4 nieces and 6 nephews!

We were not brought up to tell our parents "I love you" but I tell them now that I love them everytime I call.  I knew at first they felt awkward but they tell me back, "I love you" now.

Bem, I don't have Filipino Channel kay dugang gastos lang.  Naa man international channel sa cable so makakita ra ko'g news sa Pinoy although naa naman internet so dali ra mag access sa mga news.  However, I know my bestfriend in Hawaii and some friends hee sa Sacramento, ga tan aw sila anang Channel na naay Wowowee.  Unsa ba na, ABS CBN or GMA?  Mao nay sige nko kadunggan dire!
