Ship Rerouting
« on: April 16, 2008, 02:23:28 AM »
There is a proposed plan of rerouting sea vessels away from the Mactan Channel to avoid passing under the two bridges linking the islands of Cebu and Mactan.  That were recently hit by two Maritime Accidents.

This means vessels would have to pass at the south channel entrance and proceed to the Hilutungan Channel going north, passing through Bagacay Point en route to their destinations.
