Dear Ivyliz,

I suggest you engage into export business and not import business. This way you help our economy and not the economy of other countries. Or any business that could boost tourism is also a good business.

Thanks Botoy.

You are right Lorenzo. The end will come like a thief in the night. It was described in the revealation that the sky will be sliced from east to west.

Even Jesus told that he don't know when it is coming but only He who send Him knows.

There are may horrible things as discribed in the book of Revelation, but as I've said, there is nothing wrong if you keep yourself prepared (physically and spiritually).

Pamilacan Island is nowadays used only for temporary docking of divers. There is no much to stay in the Island. However, there is hope through privatization and government subsidy. It should not be sold to only one owner but to multi parties to avoid monopoly.

Most importantly, the original residents of the island should be properly documented (this is the foremost step). We must understand that Pamilacan is small and has limited space and these residents too have the right to live in this island. Without proper space management there will be chaos. Maybe in future, some outsiders might claim that they are from Pamilacan just to grasp business opportunity. There might be a population explosion in this small island if not controlled or managed properly.

I heared when I was young (during the 70's) that this island was already flocked by tourists. Due to its isolation, it was made into a nude beach. Also a friend of mine who installed the solar panels told me so.

Peak of the summer dire sa mong dapit.

Underconstruction pa ni last year.

Proud to say also nga naa akong ngan makita sa mga unang mi perma in support sa PPP. Mga one month pa to after launching.

Personally, I want major reforms, not only to matters concerning OFW, but to our country's plight in General. I see this movement as a major overhaul to our countries governing engine and we OFWs are the genuine spareparts.

Bayaning Rald, at the time of PPP launching, history began to take its shape.

At this time of crisis, we OFWs are the ones who keep our country alive, our remittances supports our economy afloat.

Therefore, we are only, but rightful to direct our country's course, the future of our children.

Mabuhay ang mga Bagong Bayani!

Siguro walay mi sang-at ug reclamo ani mao nga walay aksyon.

MANILA, Philippines - A Philippine information technology firm announced an agreement with a Canadian call center company, allowing both entities to offer its services inside and outside the North American country.

In a statement released last week, publicly-listed IPVG said it has partnered with Gemma Communications LP (GemmaCom), a call center company based in Ontario, Canada.

Under the agreement terms, IPVG and GemmaCom will provide English-speaking outsourcing services to GemmaCom customers that have offshore outsourcing requirements.

GemmaCom will be responsible for promotion and marketing as well as quality assurance and infrastructure such as dialer and network set-up with its pre-existing outsourcing services.

For its part, IPVG is tasked to provide call center outsourcing services through its BPO subsidiary, IP Contact Center Outsourcing (IPCCO) with its operators, production seats, and network.

“After completing a multi-continent review of possible off-shore locations and partnerships, we believe that our decision to go to the Philippines and team up with IPVG, ideally positions Gemma to provide our clients with exceptional value and industry best call center solutions," Gemma Communications president Craig Meilleur, said in the statement.

IPVG chief executive Enrique Y. Gonzalez, meanwhile, said the deal with GemmaCom will strengthens the company’s outsourcing and offshoring network.

“GemmaCom is a leading outsourcing provider in Canada, and allows us access to Canada's growing off-shoring requirements. This is yet again another milestone for IPVG and the Philippine BPO [business process outsourcing] industry," he stated.

The migration of service offerings from both companies will create a full complement of voice and non-voice delivery service capabilities such as inbound services (customer service, technical support and sales and marketing), outbound services (sales and marketing, surveys and loyalty programs), and BPO services (email support, chat support, document management and transaction processing).

GemmaCom has 1,000 seats and operates three call center facilities in Canada that are located in Toronto, Ontario, and Montreal.

GemmaCom is the third international investment agreement in IPVG’s BPO platform following the KPO joint venture with Credence Analytics in India and the acquisition of US-based call center Influent. - GMANews.TV

That was a great experience and I enjoyed.

Naa mong yuta diha sa Antiquera/Cortez border. Mo tabok ug hangging bridge.

I proudly promote their restaurant nga "KRC Restaurant".

Maayo ni nga investment kay ang imong gains are pure gain and no strings attached. Ang imo lang puhonan ani ang imong ka wise ug kinahanglan updated ka sa world events and world economic trend. So, by doing this you will not only gain money, but you will also gain knowledge which is for me more important than material gains.

What I mean by "no strings attached" is that the money you earn is also a direct gain to our economy because that is pure currency. Compared to other investment and I have already explained this in other threads which I took example of a siopao business, that the investor will gain, but our economy is lossing. Why? Because we use gas to cook the siopao and we ride our way to market, thus using fuel. These fuel and gas are imported from expensive source, so the moment our country pays to the oil exporting country, the value of our currency is reduced by that amount. Whereas we are not gaining dollars from that Siopao, unless you will sell it to an American Tourist. Hope you get what I mean.

Another thing, we percieve that the more foreign investors we have in our country, the more our economy will progress. This is wrong. That depends on the type of business they will put up. The only reason a foreign company will invest in the Phils is to earn. Sorry that Mc Donalds food chain is my best example. We thought they helped our economy by providing jobs, but we are double fried with our own oil. They used expensive fuel, gas and electricity for thier gains. The situation is like this: We are importing oil to be used by Mc Donalds in cooking their food, so that they can gain from us (double fry). Some economist say we gain by their taxes. What tax? As I've said, investors come to this country to gain, so this tax is calculated/passed-on to their margins. This means we (buyers) are the ones paying thier tax (again double fry).

So the best foreign investors is outsourcing & service oriented/manpower like call centers.

The best thing to do as a country is to intensify our export and to minimize our imports. During the 70's we are the largest exporters of Coconut by products and Rice. That time, we are not importing cars and expensive oil. We are living a simple life back then, but we were rich and in abundance. Our ex-rate at that time was 6 is to 1 US Dollar and our economy is one of the strongest in Asia. At that time, there were no much foreign investors, but now we are feasted.

In conclusion, Forex and Export business is the best solution to alleviate our economy.

Tip: I predict that the Brazilian Real will be among the strongest currencies in a span of 5 years.

Sorry for the lengthy lecture folks. Hope you learned something.

Actually our young Boholano scientists are indeed very ingenious.

During a science fair event when I was in highschool, a group of delegates from Bilar Agricultural College stayed in our house, as our cousin Mrs. Pabe was their science adviser. Their entry was about bio-fuel from Tuba-tuba seeds (I don't know the scientific name of this plant). That was back in the year 1982 and at that time, no one in the world thought about fuel crisis.

That same year, another invention amazed me and thier project is generating electricity by connecting cathodes & anode metals to trees. They were able to light up a single bulb from a small tree. Maybe a forest could light up a city.

I am deleting about 30 of same patern of email on daily basis. I tried answering one of them and thier next step is they will ask your bank account number and an initial deposit of like $500 for processing of documents. Then once you give the money, that will be the end of your communication.

Think of how many people they will victimize on daily basis. How many $500 they get on daily basis.

Another modus operandi this scammers are doing is "Job Opportunity". They will say, there is a job in UK or England for an Energy Company (Oil Exploration) and the package is $9,000 per month plus living allowances. Then they will send you application papers and they will ask you to send processing fee of $2,000 for processing and visa which they will say it is refundable upon your arrival in UK. They have also thier web site where it looks authentic. Also somebody will call you from long distance.

But be careful, it is a scam and dont send any money. This is a warning.

You will know a scam if the prize money is too outrageously large like millions or a salary of $10,000 or gold buollions, etc.

Perhaps this saying applies in this situation: "Ayaw ug toho-i ang mga butang nga wala nimo makita, ug toho-i ug katunga ang mga butang nga imong nakita"

Hope you don't misunderstood me as an anti-progress.

I am for progress, but in a proper process, which should have a long term benefit. It should be ethical, rational, democratic and carefully/strategically planned like what the US is doing (salute!).

Oil is our non renewable resource and we should be keen on protecting it or save it for a rainy day. Who knows our present crisis would lead us to famine and we can use this oil one day or sell it to a higher price at a right time, instead of just 3% benefit for Bohol. We don't even know how much profit we make for selling this to outside countries (buyers). There is no transparency from Government's side (we have the right to know this fact as a citizens of this country). And then, we all knew that there will be risks and hazards in oil drilling. But do we don't know if the gains are worth vs. the risk we take? I can not be blind on this issue because such will harm the future of my children and yours too.

What is clear to me is we have already a very big / huge potential in eco-tourism industry. This potential is beyond my wildest imagination. We are already on the right track to progress with eco-tourism. What I don't understand is why we allow people with personal interests to spoil it with un-clear revenues or just assurance.

Let us look at Palawan as a great example. Oil is drilled in Palawan since decade and yet the economy of Palawan is almost stagnant. Mindanao on the other hand lives mainly on Agriculture and has progressed many folds since two decades back. This is just a comparison between oil industry and agriculture. At present, most of the Palawanians still goes to Manila for a job or goes abroad. Their gains are only risks.

I have something to share about the world crisis.

My Own Analysis:

Factors affecting high oil prices:
- War in Iraq is not the reason.
- Recesion in the US that made all business to slow down. Thus production business that required fuel consumption also slows down. Due to this, OPEC has to increase it's prices in order to achieve thier target in value($) and not in volume. I heared the news that some oil wells in Saudi Arabia were temporarily closed. This means that my theory is true.

- The world is producing alternative fuel (Bio Fuel).

- The world's biggest producers of Bio Fuel is Brazil. They are planting sugar cane and converting it to Ethanol. That means Brazil will soon become a Top Economic power. Since they are not depending on imported oil and not affected by it's high prices, their economy will shoot up.

- Since Brazil is one of the major producers of Food, there will be scarcity of worldwide food production because Brazil uses it's agricultural land for Bio Fuel production.

My conclusion, if you want to become rich, invest your money in Brazil Stock Market. Do not choose stocks related to food, but related to steel and metal manufacturing companies. Because Brazil is also one of the worlds largest producers of metal. To produce it, they don't depend on foreign fuel, so they will have high and steady gains.

My worries is that the Amazon will be wiped out due to scarcity of agricultural land in Brazil. This is my only concern.

TAKING A  WOMAN TO BED

What is the  difference between girls/woman aged: 8, 18, 28, 38, 48, 58. 68, and 78 ?

At 8 -- You  take her to bed and tell her a story.

At 18 -- You  tell her a story and take her to bed.

At 28 -- You  don't need to tell her a story to take her to bed.

At 38 -- She  tells you a story and takes you to bed.

At 48 -- She  tells you a story to avoid going to bed.

At 58 -- You  stay in bed to avoid her story.

At 68 -- If  you take her to bed, that'll be a story!

At 78 -- What  story??? What bed??? Who the hell are you???

They are still practicing arranged marriages by thier parents. There is a famous high cliff in India called "lover's leap", where lovers who can not be married will commit suicide together by jumping.

There was a time in India where poor families were aborting their child if discovered as female. In India, it is the girl's parents who gives dowry (financial gift) to the boy's parents.

India is the most hypocrite nation, were they don't allow kissing in public, yet they have the most number of prostitutes and one of the leading HIV carriers in the world. One time, the actor Richard Gere was forced to do public apology for kissing one Indian actress in front of a large crowd.

Most of the successful Indian's you see in Europe & States are outcast in their own culture and rebuilt their lives in foreign countries. They also wished that they could do something to change the bad culture being practised in thier home country.

Importante pod nga mas taas ang term nimo per employer like more than 1 year is OK.

Didto namo nakuha ang among work-force.

Busa ayaw mo bayad ani.

Sukad gi wala ang death sentense, wala nay gikahadlokan ang atong katawhan. Nag  supot-supot ang mga heinous crime.

Since justice can be bribed, many people will resort to justice in their own hands.
