Hi I am wondering if would be safe to my girlfriend to visit Philippines with me.

I did not feel specially unsafe anywhere I have been, except a little bit in Cebu as plenty of people harassed me on the streets all the time.

I did not see any female tourist in my 2 travels there and mostly all I saw were old men. This means is not safe for my gf to go there with me? She wants me to tour her there and I told her that maybe I can go for a last time to Philippines, just to go around the country with her, but I am worried.

She does not speak english so she would depend on me 100% at any time?

What does all of you think about this? Is a good idea or an awful idea?

At the moment all seemed ok...but I just found out something creepy...

She has 2 friendster profiles. One for everyone and one with pics with her hobby that she doesn´t want to be known by her family. (heavy metal)

She always gave me access to both.

I just found out in her occupation says "gold digger hehehe.."

I sent a message to her "Baby, I need you to explain me something. Why is in your friendster profile your accupattion as "gold digger".I am not pissed off but I need you to explain me this".

I did a lost call.....then she switched off the mobile.

I am here in my work just about to cry...my body is trembling and I almost cannot type.    

What I am gonna do now...I am going to philippines in October....and now maybe just to stay locked in the apartment in Cebu alone...

This is not fair, I do not deserve this.

Just think that you did not get nothing from me apart from my unconditional love to you that will NEVER go back. Maybe one day when our ways are again crossed and I am with somebody that trully LOVES me you will realize what did you lost. No money in the world if you relly are scamming people can buy you a person as me.

You are about to ruin my travel, the travel we prepared, the travel to stay with you ALL the time. Thank you for beeing so blind cause you DO NOT deserve someone like me.

I never minded who you are, your status, your looking or if you are poor I just told you I wanted you to love for REAL, but seems you are giving tips that you did not.

I am gonna hide this to my mother at the moment cause she was SO HAPPY for us and accepted YOU since the first moment I told her I had a filipina gf. She is old and I do not wanna disgust her.

I am just remembering the plenty of different things I discovered in my first travel to Philippines that was indeed my first travel out of europe.

I think would be fun to know the experiences of the pinoy people of the forum and is living abroad, or travelled and found behaviours or customs that for them seemed weird or funny because of the different culture.

Anybody wanting to share any funny experience they had dealing with us in our westernized world?

I need local´s advice

What I should do for go around Cebu for example and nobody realizes my existence? hahaha

I am very shy if I am observed, and get nervous till I reach a point that my mind is blocked, cannot think anything properly, stop to be able to use english and then I reach a panic point and have to leave the place asap in a taxy or something and be in my room  some time apart from people´s views.

I know I am weird but I get nervous when I am stared hahahaha. I hate beeing in the spot or beeing the center of attention.

My gf says for me will be impossible to pass unnoticed but if anybody has any tip to do it or to make people stop staring at us or to me I would appreciate it a lot
