:) Fdaray Thank you for the concise posting on RH Bill here in Philippines that some may not be clear about.
#3
I also heard from foreign expats that Norwegian representatives were coming to Bohol to examine the body themselves....since there were two Norwegians in separate incidents who ended up dead here......
#4
The suspect in the shooting was identified with the family name of Roberts age 23 years old. Two persons were shot dead at random and another one aged about 18 years old in critical condition at OHSU in Portland Oregon. About 5 others were listed with anxiety during the event of the rampage shooting, the suspect also shot himself dead. He attended Beaverton Oregon H.S. and his classmates described him as a nice person in school...
The Clackamas County Mall is a really popular mall this time of year with all of its many Christmas shoppers...
Plenty of North-westerners do not see ths incident a a joking matter some are really upset by saying that their Christmas has been ruined, some say its hard to go back to that mall to shop again.
Today the mall did not open up do to local Sherrif's office  looking into the investigation of last nights gun shooting rampage.

Thank goodness it passed yippee the country is on its way to getting better....Educate first, get church out of private matters, decide on yourself being it is your body, many have tattoo and God did not born your body to be Tattooed he born your body as a temple to pure clean and unscathed...or let alone poisoned did the religious church goers heed to these teachings by God and his churches... No, not all so why should man (male) decide on how a woman should treat her body let alone keep on pumping babies into her stomach for his own few second of pleasure while her body has no breaks and is weak and at risk of fetal deformation and defects, or mother and fetus are at risk of death....Or born a child into a place of no home, no food, barely clothes to put on their backs, sounds so far and smart to me....Philippines is not exactly a place offering a job of opportunity here...Many Philippine persons run outside of Philippines and some even over-stay on their VISA as OFW to make more money to send home to their families here... Life is not easy when crisis is here..and life is so hard so unfair to that child to have a whole lot of hell of nothing to survive on...What about your bayut's here..that also breaks down on the population...Bible says if a man lays beside another man its bawal no one complains about that here??? If you love your wife then love the RH bill it is not pro abortion, it is all about educating families to have a safer time in planning a family instead of either mother and baby dying at birth or teaches spacing for lessor chance of birth defects...If your anti RH then you do not care if a baby lives or dies if not educated or your not so familiar with the law and only listen to your church being so negative about a bill that is so very good instead of looking into the bill itself...

:( Pastilan always something......Regarding foreigners as victims in coming here....It is not the tourist fault from China what the passport cover looks like....who cares...

Philippines should be honored after the bus attack a few years ago that residents of China would still want to come here after an ordeal such as that was taken out on its countries people here...
#7
Cebu you pay 10 pesos what gives? Why does Tagbilaran cost more than Cebu?
#8
Last night 12-12-12 the HOUSE of Reps voted in majority to pass the bill during a second reading with President Aquino anxiously awaiting to sign the bill into to motion. During the floor session in the house Pro H Bill supporters wore Purple while anti RH supporters wore red...
Fb Bloggers expressed their feelings on the BILL several saying the RH Bill is evil others who supported the RH BILL said its not good to bring a baby into the world when the family has no job, barely a house to live in or it has barely food to offer for another mouth. Some said the church is not helping families who struggle with having too many children...

I have heard from several persons who are friends of the first victim that there was a Norwegian national killed prior to the one being killed in Panglao last week? Does anybody have any news or follow up on this matter?  Or is this a blind item?
#10
you go without water for a week and tell me blind item and neighbors are giving reasons for why it is happening...  How dare yo call it a blind item....maybe your so use to it or your immune to it your already blind to what goes on around you here....Not here to argue....Here to make others aware that this is not a nice way to hold campaigns is to shut off water to the barangay that supports the opposing mayor and not the incumbent mayor...Even our barangay tax records are none transparent for the past two years....with the town and province..

I have heard so many stories and witnessed no water or electrical service for up to months to years at a time in this country if a politician or political incumbent is in office...One barangay I am well aware of was totally shut out of running water for one week because the mayor of the town knows that the people are in favor of the opposing candidate....Everyone deserves the right to services no power tripping politician should shut anyone off from basic needs..:-\

I have taken pills for a very long time...to take pills one must go to OBGYN get her vagina examined and have blood test to determine what are the best pills to take for her. Most persons anti RH will try to make up scare tactics and say the pills are bad when in fact the pill can save a woman's live. Especially poly-cystic of the ovaries woman who have hormonal imbalances and who have severely bloody periods, to no periods...or who can even have two periods per month can take these birth controls to balance and regulate her unbalanced hormonal isues. I once interviewed Bishop Madroso on this subject and he said he had no qualms if the pills were used to regulate women to having normal periods and help in balancing out her hormone levels...The pill is also good for the heard and also prevents woman from cervical and breast cancer...according to long time practicing physician /OBGYN Dr. Redulla from Bohol. I speak from conviction I am cancer free knock on wood..

My FB and internet have been working all day and I did not rcve any emails stating any different changes such as stopped services...but things are getting stranger by the day for sure.....>:(

Ole Jacob Kristofferson aged 50 and a Norwegian national was killed by a bullet penetrating into his abdomen by a suspect back rider of an motor having no license Plate color red. The suspect is already in custody at Camp Dagohoy just a day or two after Kristofferson was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The incident is being further investigated and is believed to be an incident of a Love triangle with the victim his girlfriend Mary Rose Ramas who is 7 months pregnant and 23 years of age from Danao Cebu and her x boyfriend. Ramas has been living with Kristofferson for about a year already. Kristofferson was residing at Sunset apartment in Tawala Panglao. The incident took place around or on December 5-6....Not so many know about this incident as it was drowned out with people focusing on Pacman Marquez fight and typhoon Pablo...Chronicle put the write up towards the back of the newspaper....

Tinuud Islander I agree with you about the comment referring to media here....

I also thought it was poorly phrased, I have also noticed several errors in grammar over the past weeks into months..

One attorney told me a week ago never mind the complaints on grammar you were a good writer with good topics and you got your message across. And said that grammar is for school and not so common in media reporting like it use to be.....He was a teacher of law before at one of the colleges here...I thanked him....I heard he was allegedly maybe killed for other things aside from his wife......or was that just chika chika as usual...

Reports have not been so clear in the last two media outlets in where the news has been heard about this incident.

At or around 0400 hrs (Last name I will with-hold) Gregory was alone near to his car four persons showed up and some things happened but he just walked away from it and one of the four stabbed the American Diplomats husband near to a gate under the cctv camera's these young adults who participated in this affair are said to be from rich families. They would not allow them to be viewed by the media or the public on Sunday Philippine time. All this has taken place in Makati city. I am awaiting any announcement from the USA Embassy in Manila on this matter...Maybe others can feel free to update this post as time goes on.....Sorry for such sad news again. Ingat all!!

Do not blve everything you read...My landord is one of the prison guards mentioned here. "After the investigations, the team finally recommends termination and filing of administrative charges for Neglect of Duty against provincial government paid Prison Guards (PG1) Fidel Castro, Jorge Lungay, Myrna Catayas and an un-named personnel tasked to man the CCTV monitors during that fateful day." I was shocked when I had heard my very good landlord who is a a councilor of the Mormon Church Dauis Branch was under investigation I thought no way and that this could not be happening to a nicer guy. My landlord if I have a problem he is there to always be the best of help to get things repaired in a speedy amount of time.... Last August he came to my house and explained things to me....I know my Landlord is a very good man....He has never complained when some things tend to get loud at times....  I know he is working elsewhere in the meantime....His whole family are great Christians ....I was so sad when hearing their names over the radio and reading this in the newspaper...and reading it here....

Yes, Hofelina, The money spent in Lions is very transparent,I will come up with our clubs proposal to prepare for a bundle of joy for the people in Jagna as this is the first time ever that such an award of money for disaster victims inside of Bohol has ever been granted from USA International Headquarters office, normally Bohol has been spared from any natural disasters of such mass as the Tornado that ruined over 90 homes a couple of weeks ago...Before the money can be even sent the Lions must submit a photo and assessment report on the many persona affected by that particular disaster being sought donations from.....I know Bohol Lions are no strangers with the International lions Office as we "Tagbilaran City Host have made most outstanding Club and Most outstanding President for the past consecutive years as we are the most active club in the province...So I am sure in the 50 plus years as a club in Bohol we are recognized.....\

#26
 :)
With this years International Lion Year Theme "In a world of service" so far it has come true for the 90 plus families that were left devastated by the past tornado that hit the coastal area of Jagna...

International Lions headquarters based in Illinois state in the USA has approved disaster relief from their international emergency relief funds dept.

A meeting with Bohol Lion club presidents and their clubs secretaries will convene together with Regional Lion chairman and PP of Tagbilaran City Host Lions George Lim this coming Saturday at METRO Center to discuss on how the clubs will spend the money.

Can someone please provide me with a list of the Tornado victims who are affected? I am thinking since construction is not allowed but the giving of commodities is okay its better to come of up a bundle of joy and rice to the victims while they are still recovering from their losses and damages...
#27
Baba Yap for Tagbilaran Mayor and Kit Oppus for Vice Mayor, others on the ticket include Jerry Pabe, Tim Butalid, Jala, Bompat, among others as of now the group running has no official political party yet... :)

It's being said that one person making controversial head regarding this running group is allegedly one who filed a law suit against one of the candidates spouses...a couple years ago.... :-X

Note Please that I do not get upset or take things personally when a Foreign person makes comment about my USA...I believe everyone has a right to voice freedom and expression I often learn from what others have to say...I do not necessarily have to agree but try to asses how others see things from their point of view....

Welfare was also a financial aide as well for American farmers who suffered in times of bad crop production but it was homeless single mothers who also ate into the system many babies are from that welfare tide-pool of support....The gas shortage in the 1970s I was a child witness to extremely long lines at the gas stations...that wound around the block at times...It was figured later on to be a hoax some sort of political gimmick.....and many were panicked I think I am about third grade elementary at the time...Thank you for the sweet compliment of my Nanay....She was a total kick in the pants when she was alive.....Same as I am!! Ingat Palagi ka!! =D

Sounds like your referring to what was known as the Great depression back in history...Grandma lived during those times and she made sure we knew it by telling us that a drop of water from the tap was a penny 5 years later it went to 5 cents for a drop of water from the tap...she made a mire 10 cents a day cutting hair and giving head massages with that during that time and she was a child working at the time as no child labor laws had been made up during those days....ha ha ha ha ha Lorenzo you cannot say you do not have a welfare system he he he he what about the pocketing of money known to be done by some politicians here? They get their self help of welfare off from others who have paid dearly for something that cost more than it should have....he he he he..

Last month several lions requested to lion district 301-B2 district Governor Manolo Lao that Jagna needs disaster relief after some picture taking and making reports by some of the local lions on the damage done to the area they turned it into the district governor he then sent assessed reports to Lions Clubs International requesting for help to be given....Below is the reply from the LCI regarding the release of funds that they sent to the district governor....

"Dear Governor Lao -

LCIF Chairperson Tam has awarded an emergency grant in the amount of US$5,000 to assist the Lions of District 301-B2 with their tornado Buhawi relief efforts. A grant check will be prepared and sent to the district. Until the grant check arrives, you may use district funds to carry out the relief efforts.

Please remember that according to the board-established grant criteria, emergency grant funds must be used only to provide basic necessities -- such as food, clothing, blankets, bottled water, and medical supplies for those affected by the disaster. The LCIF funds may not be used to rebuild structures damaged by the fires or to provide housing for disaster victims. The amount of the grant is not sufficient to meet these needs and other relief organizations and government agencies are better positioned to address such longer-term needs. Please also note that the grant funds must be utilized by the Lions and should not be turned over to a third-party organization.

If the grant funds are used for ineligible expenditures or handed over to another organization, the district will be asked to reimburse this amount to LCIF. Please contact LCIF if there are any questions regarding what qualifies as an eligible expenditure or an approved plan of action for the use of the grant funds.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if there are any questions. We wish you the very best with your relief efforts.

Sincerely,
Jindalle"

I find it sad that there are people who know about the old man's promises who owned that prime spot of land,  that whatever becomes of the land it must help the people of the city....and now look at it?? Is that the promise of the old land owner meant  that just a few know about this promise from the past? His promise is not being honored....

Agora belongs to the people as well as its (City Square) profits from the rental of the stores and vendor stall rentals as well as restaurants.

That is such an obvious thing that has happened right before everyone's eyes... That property does not belong to any one person in particular it belongs to the people of the city...Plain and simple....

I was read a post by a native in here that the squatters were an attraction for the tourist to see how people really live here....Lorenze things are very expensive here in Bohol as business's here are with out a doubt cashing in on the tourist industry here...Ga is up, food commodity up, cost of living up but not the salary of the people here and there is no welfare here to help people how there is back home in the states...

If you talk with returning Boholanos who live outside but come here for a visit some of them actually would beg to differ that there has not been any growth or that the city mayor is slip shod of his works in maintaining his city.....

Many people here like the city mayor is what I am hearing. But when you talk with island natives and try to get their honest opinion people are more likely to clam themselves up as some are afraid to say anything do to the intimidation is in this culture in regards to politics.

The way I see it everyone is my friend, and when we have friend and love them and care about them we always want what is best so of course critiquing the government is like critiquing a friend for advise to help make them listen to their people and become a better politician by addressing the issues brought up and to try and correct things the best he can...I am sure critique is often misunderstood as an insult versus someone suggestion help depends on how you approach someone when offering ideals.

I spoke with the wife Of 1st District Congressman who is a very lovely lady always to me, and I was spending fiesta in her house last May and she told me two times her husband offered to help with road repairs but two times the mayor allegedly declined the help.

Congressman Relampogos's wife said her husband just lets it go....

And feels bad that the people have to drive on such bad roads as there are in Tagbilaran nCity.

I have seen myself a big improvement in the Plaza Rizal in where it is a place now that has a peaceful ambiance to relax in again....

Mayor Lim also has some strong influential persons behind him to help back up his campaign so he is not worried about the run against now 1st Dist Congressman Relampogos...

I have not spoke with Sir Relampogos about who he has in mind for his influential strong backers?......

I always hear complaints at the same time but nothing is ever done...about it.....

look at this post for example many could comment and argue but no one dares....so if I am a politicians I want to hear from the community what it is they would like to see improved and that way hearing from others lets you know what are the important matters.....Problem is no one comments who is living here at present....in order that they be heard....

If you honestly speak heart to heart and listen to long time natives who are residing for centuries with their families in Pangalo they honestly do not want this project to happen even tourist I have spoken to coming here from Germany the other day complained of such an ideal and how much it will ruin the ecosystem here....Luoy og natives kinsa manga buhay sa Panglao...

ALYCXS.....ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha you made my morning I laughed all the way through what your saying....I agree with most of what you said.....Please let me know the name of the place that you were able to send a box from here in Bohol??

I think the community of Europe is not the same as before. I have noticed the turn-over is more now on Korean nationals working and living here especially in the Dive areas and tourist sites...

Maybe eventually I am going to be moving back to US but of course coming back here despite the tolerances but I have grown use to having tons of fun here actually and when something bad goes a muck here you had better bet I want what is best and I will defend to keep the peace here...I before moving here Lorenzo friend payed for many box's to be sent here in Bohol...indeed....but I have earned so much in memories, plaques of appreciation for guest speaking, judges awards...etc....that i do not want to leave behind....and taking on a plane is limited... believe me after eleven long years in a fun place and having done all the neat things as I have here....I am hoping if all goes well I am going home...to get some fresh air see my family and bring my things my memories and have a show and tell of how my life was here my accomplishments and believe me there are many....So you can see why me as an American whats to be like a pack rat =D and take my loot home that means so much to me here...

Talk of the Town / Re: Racism Against Filipinos
May 17, 2012, 05:58:55 AM
I am living here for almost 11 years....no matter how nice how caring or how many nice friends I have here....Foreigners are also treated here discriminatory....at times....We are sometimes thinking wow this is a sensitive culture...okay for them to do certain behaviorism but lord forbid if a foreigner does the same sometimes offensive actions of the Filipino (double standard), look at places to buy things at with no menu and no price tags....We often talk among ourselves in groups at the malls comparing news and experiences and touching basis with one another some of the male foreigners tell me that some Filipino think this is the only country that exists in the world...It is all about being a Pinoy.... I ask them then why do they stay here and why do they take GF Filipino.......the answers vary....Look at adoption fees in the country foreigners pay more to file a case versus Filipino?   And go through the same amount of hearings....in a speedier amount of time.....but the foreigner has 10 times more requirements to obtain in comparison to Filipino in the court systems here...some people here will even cut in front of foreigners who are already at the counter next to be served and if you call the one cutting in line in front of you you get looked at like oh well....Last night three students from USA standing in line at the counter they were being cut in front of and they had no qualms telling the ones in front to have some manners...Look at Filipino abroad they have communities of they're own race....one time I tried to have an expat group here.....but the people were so appalled about the ideal as if it were ganging up on the Filipino...do we as Americans say that about Filipino's having their communities....I think not....Racism is not just about being victimized as one nationality....racism comes in all forms and all nationalities...

So are you saying Fabor Fabor on the behalf of Damalerio??

I use to judge all types of contests here simply because I offered myself as I am not attending school here....I am not being brought up here and therefore I cannot fabor fabor....it pissed off some people that I was even a judge at all....okay fine, I have credentials but who were those negative Filipino to criticize me in fact I was doing them an honest favor... Often I have some good thinking in my head to be fair and to care about how things should be done in a fair manner......Maybe the woman with the bilibil as you say are full figured curvy women and now a days even elite top modeling magazines are trying to get away from those models who look like bukoc (BONE)...I am a large BBW and I resent your comments in a way.....but it is only my opinion....I like a woman who is healthy looking topos intelligent..There was even another candidate in there that Damalerio should of fabor fabored....Miss Bohol Island Lions as he is a member of that club a past president....In fairness AE Damalerio should not be having anything to do with the judging of the pageant.... Especially he is a well known government employee and having Officer of NYML, as well as the pageant producer....My question is were there charges for the seating at culture center? I am sure AE did not have to pay to use the venue hence forth making no charges for the tickets.....Governor and AE are left/Right arm friends as long as I can remember....besides who was the producer if the venue was free to use it is the tax paying citizens....I should have attended but Volleyball league gets out late....

Talk of the Town / Re: Racism Against Filipinos
May 15, 2012, 07:04:29 AM
Okay let us be fair about this. First off there are authors out there who are Filipino and they are some of the greatest and most current writers. I have read some magazines on where this author discusses the sensitive mannerisms and the pride here...He said people here are too busy being onion skinned and always looking for an apology and said this is one of the reasons you do not see progress happening here in Philippines.
I do not think in my own opinion that this topic and this subject matter makes me believe that his comment was racism remarks against the  country itself more in he is using the Philippine country as an example...of those countries in where people are often scared in not being able to speak well in the English vocab department.
I myself I am so hurt when it is my turn at the counter and the one waiting on me is running to help others who had come in after me??? Because she is ashamed to speak to me do to her lack of English speaking experience.  This has happened many times....even people behind me will be waited on before me and that is when I put my foot down realizing that what she is doing has carried on too much and it is more than past time when I should have been waited on....I have also been discriminated against living here as a foreigner...even though I have a permanent residence card...I have been living here 11 long years....I know already what is the Philippines.........you just have to know how to sort out the good and the bad here in order to wade through it all..... Before I have a problem like  heck with so many things here but over the years I have really become use to the habits here.....I laugh at new comer foreign persons coming here and hearing them moan about things I laugh as it reminds me how I use to sound before when I first came here.........What bothered me back in the days was they say it is a very Catholic dominant country.....but, with being a a sample dominant member of a Catholic church here.....I was expecting people to follow Gods ways as in having good manners at all times, having honesty in your heart and truly loving people and the things that surround you...So when you see someone one in a Catholic dominant nation and they are not setting a good example it is as if contradictory to say that this is a Catholic dominant country because if it were true i use to think that there should be no corruption, starvation and the other unsightly conditions and things that go on here....I use to think that sisters and brothers should look out for themselves and others especially those in more need...That to me is being dominant about being Catholic and being one nation....it was hard for me to digest this phrase; "A DOMINATE CATHOLIC COUNTRY"......You think of beautiful things when you hear these words put together as if it is to be a paradise in God's country.....
11 years ago you did not have as many religious choices as you do now a days here....I have noticed more people picking up in other churches aside from the Catholic church's here..... Religion should be a choice a personal choice at that it should be followed and one should be disciplined to follow what his beliefs are.
I admit I have plenty of friends here who are super sweet..... I have met people here who are also users, scammers, killers, drug addicts.....people who do really mean things to others have not even deserved to have someone done mean at them...but these people are not just here they can be found world wide....My dream and it is my biggest dream is to see the Philippines no longer a third world to see things much better then they are now and that includes services and government as well.
I would love to see the people here not looy as some are now. It is important for people to work on better attitude, for themselves so that they feel good enough to not sit back and allow things to be the way they are at present. It is going to have to take some strong heads to start breaking the ice for the better of everyone...Philippines is physically attractive the people are sweet when you meet the right ones.....this place has some pretty fantastic potential that others should be paying attention and focusing on.....so it can move ahead and advance.... :)

According to a PIA interview a few months back with Col Romeo Brawner and one of his under covers who is an ex NPA member in a radio interview on DYTR they mention one member is still hiding inside of Danao Bohol....but he so far does not pose as any threat..... Maybe things have changed since then....
#60
Maybe those people who think this should attend Talakayan Isuyang pulis reportings every month....They would see another view.....most municipalities are reporting arrest of illegal drugs marketing...Drugs are everywhere in Bohol.....

I am fond of reading and fond of helping persons out and hopefully doing well at it...I usually skim over the comments and questions to the US EMBASSY page in the Face Book and I cam across this lady seeking her Boholono Papa.   I replied to her blog at the Embassy page and told here I was living here for sometime...she clicked on my name and we chat tonight I told her about the website Tubag Bohol and she will register when she awakens in Germany...Her husband is living in Germany....here story goes like this in looking for her papa....Hope my friends and readers in here can help her.....

"To All My Facebook/Tubag Bohol Friends & Viewers,

I am still searching for my Biological Father. He is originally from Bohol Philippines. In my knowledge he went to School in Cebu City and took Bachelor of Laws around year 1971 to 1975. He got married and had 3 children. Their family is settled now in USA.

The brother of my father knew that my mother, Diosa Paulin was impregnated by my father way back in Cebu City. My mother is originally from Pagadian Philippines. She also went to School in Cebu City and took Midwifery Course around year 1971 to 1974.

I was born on November 21 in Catmondaan Catmon, Cebu Philippines. I learned from my resource that my father was beside my mother when I was born. My father saw me physically when I was an infant. Now, I want also to see my father physically and I will not stop and be tired in searching for my father. Help me dear FB friends and viewers in spreading this message.

"To my Biological Father,

I want to meet you, to know you and learn more about you & your existence. My life will not be completed if I will not meet you and know you. I have a strong feeling that one day we will meet and know each other. I am very hopeful that Facebook/Tubag Bohol will be one of the bridges in finding you. Hopefully you will find me too through this posted message. I love you my father and I am longing for your existence. Thank you."

I am withholding the name of the girl until she joins us here in Tubag Bohol......please someone help find her dad.....in here..... :)

No this is based on crimes being solved in the courts....more or less.....I am one of the media that travels in the Talakayan reporting group..

I missed the one in Anda this month I was in Manila....Another PNP Talakayan will be held in or around the third week.

Remember people living abroad there is no arrest if someone does not file a case from they're own pocket and another factor that drives into reporting crimes is safety of suspect and witnesses not many want to come forward....

I have also sen myself in where the women here are always slapping or punching a man to me it is shocking as it is something in states we are told as little girls it is not lady like to hit or slap a man it shows that we want provocation.

Abuse comes in many forms....not just physical there is emotional as well as financially left behind and abused....Where did HNU conduct they're survey and who did this survey? Females? Males or other? I had never heard of this survey happening.....??

Before this incident ever happened Tawala has been infested with drugs and goons....from all walks of life as far as back as ten years ago. The bar the couple was at prior to the killingwas once owned by Martin Williams the English man who could not get police protection in Tawala when he had already 5 attempts against his life three years ago. The bar at the time when the now late Martin Williams a British national had it was known as the She Bar which now has the name of his daughter he had to together with the take over owner who is now his widowed wife who is from Panglao Tawala area.

It has been known that one very well known resort along with its employes for some time has been allegedly active in the use of recreation drugs.

Ten years ago when I stayed at another popular resort I would get my own room together with my helper and we would observe the security guards taking guest both female foreigners and Filipina into unoccupied guest rooms and have short time with them even while they were still on duty.

Alona is pretty but.....the ambiance is not so good for me....so many beuricat, gro...gold diggers, drugs, theft, its almost like how little Tijuana is along the northern border of Mexico.

Several times I spoke with the provincial tourism chief of police from the PNP in Bohol and I informed him about the drugs in Alona a few years back but he was telling me I was crazy and in denial about any such thing...maybe he did not want to make it known during the time of his term so as not to smear up his good records by bringing on any attention to the matter...

Misery loves company alcohol, drugs, violence, prostitution theft all sorts of bad elements have always been around that beach as long as I can remember.....Pointless to make a point about anything here when your a foreigner no one listens and no ones cares...

I think the owner is Foreigner with Filipina wife.....I did not find myself n threat while riding that bus. I rode it recently to Tubigan...it was on time and affordable to ride...Of course this bus company cannot own up to being the only  fastest buses out there....Maybe this person making the complaint is prejudice....against foreigners owning business here....

I am getting dizzy from all the Police Chief changes going on in Tagbilaran City Police Dept in the past year....I am sad to see Jamora go....He was god in my eyes and I was sad to see Police Chief John Gano also being taken to regional 7 as they are both ups for class's and promotions. Good luck to the two Chiefs going up for promotion.

I think if it his relative he is also a reporter and writer for the Bohol Chronicle Corp. Why didn't Ton2 report this to the PNP authorities himself? I am sure he must have known this person was hiding in his own home town....Something seems weird here?

This is not unusual of medical mission groups to try and have clients purchase herbal products....but I have seen cases in where the sales of such herbal products is sold on the side by Filipino medical mission groups...it is optional for you to want to but the product or not? <(0-0)> seems sort of shocking that the cures here are always very expensive...I really hate that style....boang!

I think charges are not filed because in this country you need money to go up against your suspects ...that is so messed up....

Well to answer that look at the over population of the Philippines does that tell you sex is essential or not it pretty much speaks for itself....are you talking marriage or as in manga uyab uyab? Bculture here is bawal on pre-marital sex....

I do not think that Philippines or any other country should make a national holiday out of anyone's religion. Let them do they're thing and let others do they're own thing...Do we have stop work holidays for MORMONS LUTHERAN....or OTHER?

Why do we need to give offfer such things I can understand Christmas and New years day holidays but let us face it Philippines always has some excuse to not go to school or go to work....Grabe

Don't pump gas on April,15th 2011
KEEP SENDING THIS

Il do it! If running low, just get your gas the day before on April 14 or the day after on April 16. Every little bit helps.
In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

On April 15th 2011, all internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $1.20 a liter in most places.

If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companies pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on April 15th and let's try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

If you agree (which I can't see why you wouldn't) r

Last Tuesday the gas was raised to 60.35 from 60.10 according to Georgle Lim at Caltext Service and gasoline station near to Plaza Rizal and the Cathedral in Tagbilaran City he told me you can just about expect gas prices to keep going up every Tuesday after meetings with gas companies Tuesdays.

The gas is back down to 60.10 again at current.

That is why (tingale ra pod) foreigners (meaning, non-Pinoys) prefer Pinays and other Asians because they are not only beautiful, they are less stressful (if ever) within marriage relationship... not to mention the fact that they are faithful (mostly), caring (mostly), loyal (almost all)and a lot less complicated (all) than those who were born and/or grew up in Western societies (tingale gehapon), etc etc (etc includes "high performance but less maintainance" kuno matud pas usa ka puti nga akong naka istorya ;D). Magpangutana baya pod ko out of curiosity, and I take their word for it (whether accurate or not)  ;D

Uuuuuum not all Pinay are faithful I could name a few here but to protect them i will not do it....but they are married to foreigners and when the man is visiting his home country she is sneaking around with a Pinoy lover with the foreigners money....

Even older married Filipino men prefer to be with younger sexier ladies when their wives are already too old for them...In fact the Pinoy man will try his hardest to justify why he never comes home and he will try to make his legal wife out like te bad one to justify his wrongful actions.....kuyaw jyud!!!

Americans guys like their women young also I think all nationalities of men they are not all dedicated to infidelity when they are married already.....

At my side all day is an internet cafe and daily like clock work the hours the same the women the same time everyday the women go to and from the internet the hours of which are just before American men are going to bed or the man i preparing to go to work.... but during the hours of 1pm-5pm here not as many as there are during the hours of 5-12......

These women are also married they have camera on and about 3-4 choices of foreigner men on camera hidden down below in the discrete portion of the monitor so no one can see what she is doing over her shoulder....

Then you have those lucky relationships in which she and he are very good and very loving towards each other....

I heard from one of the media persons that it was Jane herself who had paid for the bailout of Boy Guing, not sure if it is a joke or not? The one who they were saying things against here were against Jane Cajes. None of the info printed by the post held any ground........

update....two days ago one of four suspects not 3 had turned himself into the Cabawan Bgy Captains office.

I also spent time interviewing the security-guard on duty the night when the incident had taken place. One of the questions I had asked him was "Why did you not try to break up the confrontation in the CR area to keep peace and order in the place?" His reply was this "It is not my job."........I rest my case...

Most Boholanos favor death penalty.

This was the news write up in a local paper this weekend.

the very first words upon landing down into the country of PI back in 2007 was that if anyone was caught doing or pushing drugs in this country that it was an automatic death sentence. I think it was abolished since then....

Just over two years ago a British national was stabbed to his death by a very young drunk man coming from Bojols also....
#90
In the wee hours of the morning at around approximately 1 AM in the morning the supervisor of Bo's Coffe was stabbed two times in the heart causing instant death.

After working the shift at the popular coffee shop in where the victim was a supervisor him and a companion went to a popular drinking hole for minors known as Bojol Grill. In the restroom area a confrontation had taken place and three men causing the disturbance were calling names to the supervisor and his companion so the companion and the supervisor went running after the trio of trouble makers towards CPG and Lessage St in where one of the three men was able to get a hold on an ice pick and stabbed the victim twice in the heart.

Until press time the suspects are still at large.

Many establishments near to churches and schools are serving liqueur when they should not be...unless the said establishment has obtained a sales of liqueur permit allowing sales of alcohol from 10pm until 1Am in the morning.

City councilor Mariquette Oppus was said to be wandering where was the BGY Tanods when all this was going on?

I myself am wondering why the security guards did not tryto make and settle peace when the group was in the cr having confrontation....??? ???

In a short news story that was published in the Bohol Chronicle it was said that the Sunday Post Publisher Boy Guing had already paid his arrest bail of PhP 10.000 after the trail court had set out a warrant for his arrest and another mans arrest who was writing news that was liable against an well known SK person here in Bohol.

The news published by the newspaper a few months back apparently did not hold true to any creditability there fore putting the writer D'érs and it's publisher of the paper under arrest this past week.

D' Ers is beloved to have left Bohol already. and some resources say he has also bailed himself out from arrest.
#92
But you all say it is sliding down but most people are still trying to get over the border of the US from here.....
#93
This is no surprise at all....

In Bohol the current price of gas for Silver at Caltext is 60.10 for liter.
#95
Nothing wrong with it.I think that it's a nicely said. Many couples when losing a loved one feel so bad and they just break down with-out that special person in their life.

It is sort of like when some people have had a routine of working and when they retire it takes a few short years to terminate as the person is out of their routine of having to be more active or feeling of less importance once they have retired....Psychological.......

Better to name it "Pan de Punchout!"

I often ask myself what is it this group is all about? I find it to be an absolute popularity race of who are the kids coming from the richest of families?

I only here complaints about SK always about one of them not doing anything good....I think before it was Leo against Benjie Oliver the youth commissioner of the Philippines???

Well no one touches him now as he is under the big support of Governor Chatto.

I always found Benje to be a very polite young man anytime I was around him.
#98
Binay handled himself well.

But I know how it feels when I have lived here as long as I have (ten years) and be told by older Filipino persons that "You do not have any rights here!"

I am also calm as I know I am not the only Foreigner in where these type of words are being directed at.

I pity persons who behave in such a way.

I love all types of people no matter where they are from and if curious I will taste their foods and drink their wine with them together....

I am curious to learn about how other countries and cultures live... I do not want to be biased or be taught that one religion or country is all that matters in this world. .....It takes all types to make this world go around!!!!
Even the rude and the most kindest!

Despite an earlier meeting that was slated earlier in the month, president Mr. Rene Reil has text to members of the TBN board to please attend a 130PM meeting on October 30th, at JJ Seafoods House in where the clubs regular meetings are held.

He encourages all board members to be there and also stated in the text to please make it on time. Our president is a very busy and kind heart in the community in helping out many people here. So when one is busy helping others he tends to have a busy schedule.

Our president said that the matters to be brought up for the meeting are important.

I asked Tagbilaran By Night Anchorman Gerry Pabe last night after signing off from air if he would be attending this Saturday's TBN meeting called by our TBN Club president?  He told me as of last night that he is planning to attend.

Thank You!
