Death of UST Law Student Horacio Castillo III
« on: September 20, 2017, 01:41:57 PM »
Press Statement

De La Salle University law professor and Assistant Majority Leader Ron P. Salo condemns the senseless death of 22-year- old UST law student Horacio Castillo, III over apparent fraternity hazing.

Salo supports the move by the Justice Department to have the case investigated by the National Bureau of Investigation. Salo said NBI should swiftly build a tight case against the perpetrators and suggests that Bureau of Immigration issue hold departure orders against the suspects to prevent them from evading trial. The DOJ must assure the public that no “whitewash” will happen.

Salo also calls on the illustrious alumni of the Aegis Juris Law Fraternity to convince current frat leaders to surface and submit themselves voluntarily to authorities in order to shed light on what really happened during that “welcoming party.”

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
