Nograles: What's happening to our party?
MANILA, Philippines (4th UPDATE) - Two top officials of the ruling Lakas-Kabalikat ng Malayang Pilipino-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-KAMPI-CMD) tendered their resignations on Wednesday, a day after the party's standard-bearer Gilbert Teodoro gave up his role as party chairman.

Sarangani Gov. Rene Miguel Dominguez said he resigned as party president to allow the next Lakas-KAMPI chairman a free hand in choosing his replacement. Hours later, Lakas-KAMPI-CMD secretary general Francis Xavier Manglapus also followed suit, citing similar reasons.

In their resignation letters, the two officials cited the recent resignation of Gilbert Teodoro as chairman of the Lakas-KAMPI-CMD party. Both thanked the party's National Executive Committee for being given the privilege to serve the party.

Dominguez and Manglapus were proclaimed national president and secretary general, respectively, of the ruling Lakas-KAMPI-CMD party in November 2009.

Dominguez is the incumbent governor of Sarangani province. He is seeking a third term under the Sarangani Reconciliation and Reformation Organization (SARRO), which has a tie-up with Lakas-KAMPI-CMD. The bets from SARRO are up against the full slate of  the People's Champ Party (PCP), led by boxing hero Manny Pacquiao, who has tie ups with the Nacionalista Party. Teodoro tendered his resignation as chairman of the ruling party on Tuesday. He said he wants to focus on his presidential campaign. He said the party needs a chairman who can respond on a 24/7 basis to the needs of its candidates. (Read: Gibo quits as Lakas-Kampi chairman)

Na hasta ila presidente mi resign na man diay? Unsa kaha ang ikasulti ni Chatto ani? Sinking party na diay ni? Dili na maghilabot si Gibo sa LAKAS kay mag concentrate sa iyang pangampanya... kon naa pa tingali mosagup niya ug mo support basin mobalhin na pod siya? Paita.

More resignations hound Lakas-Kampi. According to Nograles, he is now confused and seem to be out of the loop. The local troops are now as confused over this event. Lakas-Kampi-CMD members have also low morale  because of the resignations. When Pichay was asked if the party can attend to these requirements, he said" You better ask Ronnie Puno". Gibo's resignation as chairman may lead to more defections from Lakas-KAmpi. It shows that there are problems with the party. Tanada said there was nobody in the party leadership imposing discipline within the party. And amid the defections, even party elders were not cracking the whip on members.....

Even FG mike arroyo jumped also sa laing partedo...haskang paita na jud sa Lakas-kampi....Unya mao nay gipang awayan sa local candidate sa bohol kinsay traydor...ang ilang mga amo sa national directorate nanggigulayang nalang sa pag survive sa ilang politikanghong interest...hasta ilang mga boseng nagplastar na... ;D ;D ;D isig luwasay nalang mo mga politiko sa bohol...kung guimahal mo sa katawhan nga dili mo magsalig sa partedo then swerte kang pagkapolitiko... ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ang bad kanang at the last minute, nga bisan kunohay kapartido mo, alid an ang sample ballot, resulta napildi tawn si Aumentado hasta mismo sa presinto ni Chatto, mao nay with evidenced nga klaro pag luib. Mahadlok lang siya mabawsan mao nga midapig siya ni Cajes, nagtuo man makahig siya? Nakahig jud, pahiubos, kay unsa man pod nahimo ni Cajes sa 2nd district? Pangutana lang kay wa jud nakit an .

sinking?...what makes you think nga sinking ang LAKAS sa Bohol?...i'm not a fan of LAKAS-KAMPI but i can clearly see that they are still rock solid inspite sa mga daut ug akusasyon sa pikas...mao nakaingon ka nga sinking sila kay taga pikas man kah so mao jud imu pangagpas, but in my case nga walay amo nga politiko i can see clearly kung kinsay sinking ug kinsay di...kay dili bias ang pag tan aw sa mga bagay2x di pareha ninyo nga naay politikong gidapigan...hahahaha,
