there are homosexuals here in Germany as politicians, they are well loved because they are doing their job well, good governance. I don´t see it as a hindrance for our politicians. The problems lies on the electorate.
He he, bitaw, wala nay discrimination karon, supposedly anyway. There are non-closet homosexuals in the military, in the clergy, in politics--name it, they're there. Ang questionable, kon ang usa ka bajot magminjo. That's hypocrisy, and that's what's objectionable.
A notable exception is the case of the gay poet W. H. Auden who married Erika Mann--the daughter of Thomas--to save her from Nazi Germany.
Actually, after she was declared an enemy of the Third Reich, Erika asked a mutual friend, Christopher Isherwood, to marry her in the hope of obtaining a British passport. Isherwood was against the institution of marriage and so he suggested Auden, who readily accepted. The interesting part here is that Auden and Isherwood were lovers.
Sorry kay na-OT na kaajo ko. A possible redeeming point of this obiter dictum is the suggestion that a homosexual can, in conscience, enter a pretended marriage if it is for a noble cause.
