Reported by Ric V. ObedencioA survey purportedly aimed at determining whether different offices of the provincial government are doing well or not according to their respective tasks showed a dismal, if not less, performance of the so-called satellite offices under the office of the governor.
The Bohol Detention and Rehabilitation Center (BDRC), Center for Culture and Arts Development (CCAD), and Bohol Center for Development Studies (BCDS) are at the bottom of the survey with a weighted average points of 4.08; 4.16; 4.17, respectively. Provincial Government Media Affairs Office (PGMA) and Internal Audit System (IAS) tied at 4.18.
Two well performing offices, the survey showed, are the Provincial Budget Office (PBO) and Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) are tied at 4.61 points.
They are followed by number three Office of the Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan with 4.54 points. The Office of the Governor (4.51) and Vice-Governor Office (4.52) almost tied in fourth place with a difference of only point zero one (.01).
The Provincial Treasurer’s Office and Provincial Accountant’s Office (Pacco) tied at fifth place with 4.49 points; Provincial Library and Information Center, 4.47; Office of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, 4.46; Provincial Veterinarian, 4.45; Human Resource Management Development, 4.45; Provincial Administrators, 4.41; Tourism Office and Provincial Legal, and Provincial Assessors Office, 4.39 apiece.
Provincial Social Welfare and Development, 4.38 points; Provincial Agriculture, 4.37; Bohol Employment Placement Office, 4.34; Provincial General Services, 4.34; Provincial Engineer’s, 4.30; Provincial Health Office, 4.29; Bohol Law Enforcement Communication System (Blecs), 4.28; Bohol Investment Promotion Center, 4.28; Bohol Environment Management Office, 4.28; and PMO, 4.24 and Bohol Poverty Reduction Management, 4.23.
