Second district Rep. Roberto "Bob" Cajes yesterday categorically said
he is not interested to run for governor in next year's elections.The statement of the last termer solon came amid reports that he is secretly campaigning for his gubernatorial bid in his district.
When contacted for comments, Cajes laughed off the report saying that in his town sorties, he announced all indications to be the possible running mate of First district Rep. Edgar Chatto, another last termer solon who is leading in all surveys conducted among possible gubernatoriables.

Cajes, a former provincial board member before he run for Congress said that he would be comfortable to go back to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, this time, as its presiding officer, if elected as vice governor.
The Chatto-Cajes tandem is reportedly catching fire in the towns even as both declined to officially announce their political positioning for the 2010 polls.
Cajes, during the same interview with the Chronicle likewise denied reports that he is fielding his wife, Trinidad Mayor Judith Cajes to run for congresswoman in his district.
"I do not intend to contest Gov. Erico Aumentado who is running for congressman in our district," the solon said, while confirming that his wife will run for her second term as mayor of Trinidad. - the Bohol Chronicle
