Press Release: Engr. Raoul Cam of the City Planning and Development Office had a brief meeting with our environment-friendly City Mayor on March 22.
According to Engr. Cam, Mayor Gomez showed him the first phase of the installation of solar panels on the rooftop of the city hall. The solar panels are renewable source of energy which is aligned with SDG 7 or affordable and clean energy goal.
They also discussed the possiblity of replicating the aforesaid solar panels in other public buildings as part of the city's climate action or response to climate change resiliency.
SP Member Gregorio Yrastorza lll and Kananga Municipal Asministrator, Atty. Lito Solibaga were also present during the meeting.
