The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) represented by Mr. Vincent Escario - Manager, in partnership with the City Government of Maasin, headed by our City Mayor Nacional V. Mercado and Vice-Mayor Maloney Samaco, through the City Agriculture’s Office, facilitated the release of Indemnity Check to the following farmers who claimed insurance for their damaged crops due to extreme weather events, pests and plant diseases:
a. Brgy. Bagtican – 12 farmers;
b. Brgy. Dongon – 2 farmers;
c. Brgy. Libertad – 1 farmer;
d. Brgy. Tigbawan – 1 farmer; and
e. Brgy. Laboon – 1 farmer.
The City Government of Maasin is thankful for the continuous support of PCIC to our farmers.
