Heart's dad speaks up vs Chiz

Heart Evangelista’s father, Rey Ongpauco has spoken up to deny the statements Sen. Chiz Escudero gave in an interview with the  Philippine Daily Inquirer as published in its April 14, 2013 issue.
 
In a statement sent to Yahoo! Philippines OMG!, Rey said Chiz’s statements offended him  and that the re-electonist senator is using Heart to libel them.

“How can I break up their relationship, when he pounced on Heart as early as July?”

Rey was reacting to Chiz’s comment that Heart’s parents are behaving the way they do since they want him to  break up with the actress.

Heart’s father added that Chiz is “burnishing his image as a young man of promise.”  And while the Ongpauco patriarch agrees Chiz has lots of promise, the former stressed that one of them is his promise to Heart that he will become President in 2016.

try meeting chiz escudero up close.  no one can be more arrogant.  everything about him is a put-on, mere propellants to his burning ambition of leading the country.  his arrogance is matched only by his cheshire cat smile and peter cayetano.  matched, yes, but not outmatched. 

let's not forget that these two clowns became senators mainly because of name recall, after they tried so hard at media exposure as congressmen out to behead then chief justice hilario davide.
