MANILA, Philippines â€" Vice presidential bet Sen. Loren Legarda had called her now running mate Sen. Manny Villar “crooked,” “rotten” and “good for nothing,” according to Senate President and re-electionist senator Juan Ponce Enrile.

In a press conference today at the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino headquarters in Mandaluyong City, Enrile said Legarda only allied herself with Villar for her own political ambition, particularly the financial support during the national campaign.

He claimed that Legarda was the one who had been pushing him to oust Villar from the Senate presidency that time.

"Manong please do this for the sake of Senate. Si Manny Villar bulok," Enrile quoted Legarda as saying when she accosted him when she hatched the plan of some of her colleagues to unseat Villar.

Earlier, Enrile, who is running under the PMP ticket of former President Joseph Estrada, also accused Villar of applying pressure on the Philippine Stocks Exchange directors to except the shares of stocks of his company, Vista Land and Landscaping Inc., from the lock up provision. - By Dennis Carcamo (Philstar News Service, www.philstar.com)

ana naman jud na sya, gwargs and ray.  just imagine ga hilak-hilak pa adtong senate hearing for estrada's corruption case unya diay to nag running mate ni estrada few years after!  asa naman ang ijang prinsipyo uroy!

legarda is said to have irked the sisters of tony leviste before because her usual question when she met them was 'buhay pa ba si matanda?', referring to the jilted wife of leviste who lived in the same condominium as they did.  it looks like it wouldn't be easy to trust her kind.

i saw her "harapan" debate with mar roxas and i really feel sorry for Loren. she wasnt able to answer questions wittingly. I would rather vote for binay than Loren.. but ofcourse, that is if Mar Roxas is not a vp candidate of LP...

nag apil2x lagi ko anang bajiha ug hilak when judge davide declared that they could not continue to with the impeachment hearing because majority of the senators decided NOT to open the second envelope supposedly containing evidence against erap.  nah, di ba nag sayaw2x si oreta adto while si loren kay gahilak.  unya diay few years from that, nakipag running mate si loren ni erap!  ano ba yan! 

mo papil jud sya kanunay! di na ma ihap iyang ka dramahan but then again, politician lagi!
