Press Release: Borongan City Mayor Jose Ivan Dayan C. Agda visited recently, a certain detachment of Civilian Active Auxiliary (CAA), situated in a far Borongan mountain.
Together with top ranking officials of 801BDE, of the 8th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, Mayor Agda spoke in person to the civilian volunteers and vowed before them, for his all out support as the city's Chief Executive.
Sharing the same vision with the military officials and their men, for peaceful and secured communities, Mayor Agda braved the thick forest and uneven terrains just to reach the peacemakers and let them feel their relevance to all development initiatiaves of the city government.
He praised the CAA members and their leaders for defending democracy at all cost.
