I really think, any political system, or any social system for that matter, can never be free from corruption, unless we the people make a change, individually, one person at a time. That is quite a long shot, but it's the only possible way.

i'm not sure about senators in other countries bbut regarding senators in the philippines, it seems that they are ALL useless. case in point: there are questionable laws that get enacted into law that are originally sponsored by only one or a few senators. yet it gets majority vote. can something like this happen if our senators are competent at all?

kung way dakong presentation sa senado ang atong rehiyon, way rason nga mobati sila unsay panginahanglan sa mga tawo; mao na pataka ra silag panday og balaod. nila pa, ang action tua ras ibabaw (Manila); tinapsing na lang ang moabot sa silong.
