Nagbasa ko'g Time Traveller's Wife karon.. Naa sa pinaunang page kani nga poem:

Love After Love

The time will come
when, with elation
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror
and each will smile at the other's welcome,

and say, sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you

all your life, whom you ignored
for another, who knows you by heart.
Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,

the photographs, the desperate notes,
peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit. Feast on your life.

if i may humbly impose my own conjecture ,

it appears that this man , this former lover,
hath been arrested in the bosom, for love his love hath caused perilous harm ,
woe, for the necessity to feast for oneself is but the sensation to anesthetize the pain within
for love given and torn asunder bears pain impervious to most apothecaric remedies.

Desperate notes, cards, pictures.
All in dismay, for the hopes and dreams of his own rapture have been led
left. on the floor.

Let him feast, let him care his injured heart, for there is pain indescribable,
words unimaginable that reiterates the very painful burn that is within bosom of man, yes, even woman,
when love is given and torn asunder.

So feast on, man in the mirror, and let thy jolly and gaiety persist,
whatever may help in minimizing the pain of a broken heart...

i pray for thee,
i sing for you a sweet, loving melody...
