Cold summer morn

as i lay in bed
with cold breath of summer
that comes from the north west
of lakes on Michigan
and i dream of you
as i fall to sleep

i wake up in morning
to begin a new day
listening to the words in my mind
to study and conquer the day

and there are moments
that i think of you
sweet morsel of beauty
i must say.

i adore you.
