te mom too.. i mean lolo is from southern leyte so when they were young daw they go home and see the fishermen pull the nets.. hilig man to cla early morning baths sa beach..  tas naay gagmay nga crabs..talangka? kana! some eat that daw pud..raw..

and are you familiar with isda sa bato? cause at ormoc, there was this family, dha cla te, stick (asin tree branch) their pa-on were shrimps.. then the water was only a foot high? asin! daghan cla nadakop na isda sa bato.. i felt weird kay cge rami ligu ligu didto and snorkel..then makaon diay to nga mga fish! and dali ra kaayu dakpon :)

I think dagat with stones as seabed mas daghan ug fish..no? sa Panglao Beach naay fishes ? imean pwede snorkel sa resort? or wala mga fish? Tacloban beaches have no fishes.. Ormoc beaches daghan!
heeey? what's the point of this?

Bem, I know pwede mag snorkeling sa Panglao and I am pretty sure naa pod isda didto.  When we brought friends from Rotary Club from Cagayan de Oro, we went to Balicasag Island, diha man daghan fish gapang ambak2x.  Diha pa gani whales or dolphins ba to the amazement sa among mga guests ug syempre kami pod!

Really? My father's clan hails from southern Leyte and Surigao. Well actually, the Lucino came from Surigao then part of the clan migrated to Southern Leyte, some stayed in Surigao. From Leyte, some came to Bohol.

Does your lolo come from Borgos? Pintuyan? Maasin? I have many relatives that hail in those regions.

haha you're Lolo's mom was a Tan?

My great grandfather (the father of my Lola Nating) was also pure Chinese. His full name was Tan Ngai Feiyi. The family name was Tan.

Does your Lolo speak Cantonese?
