Siargao International Surfing Cup

The Siargao International Surfing Cup returns after a two year hiatus because of the pandemic.

Filipinos win big in the competition with John Mark Tokong as champion in the Men's Event after defeating Oney Anwar of Indonesia.  Nilbie Blancada finished as champion in the Women's Event after defeating Japan's Anon Matsuoka.

For the organizers and the people of Siargao, the event is a celebration that the island is back on its feet.

Resorts are fully booked with delegates from Japan, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, Sweden, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
