How to Join the Philippine Army

Candidate Soldier Course Qualifications
-18-26 years old on start of training
-At least 5 feet in height both male and female
-Single and without child
-Of good moral character
-At least 72 units in College (If High School graduate, must posses a certified skill needed in military service.)
-Physically and Mentally fit 

Candidate Soldier Course Requirements

-Whole Body Picture (Colored, 3R size)
-Accomplished Application Form/ Resume with 2x2 ID picture
-NSO Birth Certificate with Official Receipt
-NSO Marriage Contract of parents with Official Receipt
-High School Diploma with seal (Original Copy)
-Transcript of Records with seal (Original Copy)
-Vocational Course or College Diploma with dry Seal (Original Copy)
-AFPSAT Result with dry seal (if possible attach code number)
-Medical and Physical Exam Result (Original Copy) (To be conducted at Camp Elias Angeles Station Hospital)
-PFT Result (To be conducted by HHSBn, DSSO, 9ID)
-Drug Test Result (To be conducted at Camp Elias Angeles Station Hospital)
-HEPA Test Result (To be conducted at Camp Elias Angeles Station Hospital)
-Clearances (Barangay, Police, Mayor, NBI, RTC) shall be from the place of residence for at least five (5) years.
-Certificate of Legal Beneficiaries (Notarized)
-Affidavit of being Single (Notarized)
-BIR Tax Identification Number (TIN)
-Philhealth Membership and Identification Card
-CENOMAR (NSO Certified) with Official Receipt, must be current and within 3 months before validation.

Three (3) Career Options:

Thru the Philippine Military Academy (PMA)
The PMA is a four-year course which prepares you mentally, physically, and emotionally to become an officer. Upon graduation, you will be commissioned as an Army 2nd lieutenant in the Regular Force, AFP.

Thru the Officer Candidate Course (OCC)
The OCC is a one-year course which prepares you mentally, physically, and emotionally to become an army officer. Upon graduation, you will be commissioned as an Army 2nd lieutenant in the Regular Force, AFP.

Thru the Officer Preparatory Course (OPC)
If you are already an Army 2nd Lieutenant in the Reserved Force, AFP on inactive status, six-month  OPC prepares you for active duty in the Regular Force, AFP.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Baccalaureate Degree holder
Natural Born Filipino Citizen
Height : at least 5' for both male and female
With Pleasing personality and high scholastic records
No pending case in any court of law
Physically and mentally fit for training
FOR OCC APPLICANTS:
Single and is not supporting any child
Between 21 and 25 years old on the date of admission at OCS

Initial Requirements:
College Diploma
Transcript of Records
NSO issued Birth Certificate
Curriculum Vitae (for Civilian applicants)
Summary of Information (for Military applicants)
2x2 picture

FOR OPC/CAD APPLICANTS:
Commissioned as 2Lt in the Reserved Force (inactive status)
Between 21 and 31 years old on the date of CAD
No Pending Case in any court

Initial Requirements:
College Diploma
Transcript of Records
NSO issued Birth Certificate
Curriculum Vitae (for Civilian applicants)
Summary of Information (for Military applicants)
Appointment Orders as Reserve 2LT (for OPC applicants)
2x2 picture
For OPC (CAD) AND OCC APPLICANTS:
· Whole body picture (colored 3R)
· Summary of Information w/ 2x2 id picture (for Military Applicants)
· Resume (for Civilian Applicants)
· Authenticated xerox copy of Birth Certificate
· Authenticated xerox copy of Transcript of Records
· Authenticated xerox copy of Diploma
· Result of AFP Service Aptitude test (AFPSAT)
· Statement of Service (for Military Applicants)
· Marriage Contract of parents (if single)
· Certificate of legal beneficiaries commission orders (for CAD applicants only) awards and decorations and commendations (if any)
· NBI Clearance PRC, ROTC Order of Merit, Civil Service Eligibility, and others command clearance (G2,PA)
Affidavit of being single (Certified by two (2) disinterested persons, OCC only) other requirements
