SINAS:  ROBBERY-HOLDUP SYNDICATE FALLS

Police composite teams of Highway Patrol Group and Manila Police District swiftly traced and neutralized a robbery-holdup gang that victimized two Chinese casino players.

In his report to PNP chief, PGen Debold Sinas, HPG Director, PBGen Alexander Tagum, identified the key suspect as Ali Asgar Pendatum  Baraguir, a personal driver of the victims who turned robbery-holdup group leader that preyed on two Chinese expats Hanze Weng and Wuwez Fang who were supposedly playing Casino games in a high-end gaming hub in Paranaque City.

PGen Sinas lauded the composite teams of HPG-Special Operations Team and  Local Territorial Unit of MPD for the successful operations against the gang leader and for the arrest of three other suspects today, December 29 at 12:05 MN, in a hotel in Malate, Manila.

Tagum narrated that around 2PM of December 28, the two Chinese nationals withdrew cash bills amounting to nearly Php 32,340,000.00 before heading to Casino games in Paranaque City.

Based on the statements of the victims while they were along JW Diokno Blvd., their driver, Baraguir stopped his driven motor vehicle and unlocked the doors. The suspect connived with his brother who suddenly barged in the vehicle and pointed a gun toward two victims to declare holdup.

After they were dumped along the road, the two victims immediately reported the crime to the PNP-HPG. The Regional Highway Patrol Unit of National Capital Region swiftly acted on the incident, dispatching a Special Operations Team and Intelligence Operatives to arrest the suspects and recovery of vehicles.

The group was traced after the initial investigation revealed thru CCTV footages that they boarded a taxi to go to a hotel in Manila which has been tracked as their safe area. Police investigators sought the help of the taxi driver to locate the place in Manila where he dropped the two suspects.

The police confiscated from the suspects  one (1) Cal .45 Pistol and two (2) motor vehicles described as Toyota Vios and Ford Raptor recovered in front of a gasoline station along MIA road in Pasay City and undertermined amount of money.

All arrested suspects will be facing criminal charges, while the police teams are eyeing for another operation to arrest other cohorts.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
