Philippine Trial Judges League (PTJLI), Bohol chapter

Oslob, Cebu Regional Trial Court Judge James Stewart Ramon E. Himalaloan swore last Friday the new officers of the Philippine Trial Judges League (PTJLI), Bohol chapter during its induction rites at the Olman's View, Dauis, Bohol.

Sworn before Judge Himalaloan were Judges Jorge D. Cabalit, president; Cecilio O. Dangoy, vice president; Lindecita Cabaron-Arcamo, secretary; Ma. Elisa Ello-Ochoco, treasurer; Jorge Uba, auditor; Sisinio Virtudazo, public relations officer; Emma Supremo, Alejandro Canda, Glen Pergamino, Avelino Puracan, and Olivia Migriño-Mende, directors; and Salud C. Migriño, immediate past president.         

At the same time, the PTLI, Bohol chapter presented awards of recognition to judges for their respective accomplishments and dedicated service to the judiciary.

Awarded were Judge Sisinio Virtudazo who was recently chosen as outstanding judge for judicial excellence, Judge James Stewart Ramon E. Himalaloan who was recently promoted as RTC judge, Judge Salud Migriño and Avelino Puracan who have retired from the judiciary.

For his part, reelected PTJLI President Cabalit thanked the members of the league for their support for his first term as president of the league.

He thanked the members of the league for the successful implementation of the Death Aid and Disability Fund (DADFUND) Program of the league.

The PTJLI president also thanked the members of the league for their support in the past national conventions of the league.

He urged all members of the league to support his second term as president of the league. (Judge Sisinio Virtudazo)
