Tagbilaran City (Dream Poetry)

How TCDP came to be...

"There wasn't much to do this afternoon, after work, so I end up putting together a video of my favorite hometown - while heating up this week's leftovers for a late lunch - and decided to put some poetry to it as I went along. Funny how some thoughts/ideas came to be, unafraid of how I was going to formulate it in it's final form. What the heck, five minutes was all I had (wink!)"

This was neat! I can see that some of the pictures were taken some time ago as we have had some new and better rennovations happening here.

It was nice to here Kuya Meo's rendition of "My Tagblaran City" I use to travel with his old band Sacrifice man did we have fun in those days considering it was about eight years ago!!!

Dod's played Bass, Kuya Roel was the screaming guitar, Harold played the drums, Anne sang leads and once in a while I was come in for the higher notes as a guest singer. And Kuya Meo played the boards!

Anyways again back to the pictures they were all great!!!

Thanks for sharing everyone!!!

Where I studied in college ilang gipanglubong ang tanang wire. Wala juy obstruction sa view. Pag diha nay expansion sa connections, gitapulan nag lubong. That corner sa Rose Pharmacy kinadaghanan og wire. Samok kaayo tan-awon.

Kon makita ning mga pictures diri sa Tagbilaran, mahinumdom ko dayon  sa akong kabatan-on .Halos kada adlaw gibagtas nako ning Libertad Street paingon, pauli sa eskwehahan. .Diri ko nagdako sa Tagbilaran, gikan sa high school sa BSAT in 1962 hangtud sa college diha sa Rafael Palma College pa niadtong 1969.

When I was 5 years old, I followed my Nanay Milie to this cathedral by myself riding a pedicap. It was my first 'task adventure' in my life, but I followed her because every morning, she would visit this cathedral and go to the chapel and pray. One day, I decided to follow her.

Taking 5 pesos with me, and with my blue chinelas, clothed only with my pajamas, I called for a pedicap driver and told him to follow the pedicap that my Nanay Milie was riding to St. Joseph's Cathedral.

Naka hindumdum pood ko karon. That was over 19 years ago. :)
