Larry is from Catagbacan, Loon.
3. That movie, I forgot the title, starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo. It featured the Loboc River Cruise, Chocolate Hills and the old church of Alburquerque.
4. An international movie, the title of which I also forgot, which was directed by Michael Stone, husband of Boholana Bb. Pilipinas alumna Taina Manigque. Shot mostly in Tagbilaran.
5. "Muro-Ami", a movie about illegal fishing that won an international award for Cesar Montano and the movie itself. Shot in Panglao and Loon and the seas off Panglao, Dauis, Tagbilaran, Maribojoc and Loon. Introduced was Rebecca Lusterio who won a Best Child Performer in all award-giving bodies. It also featured more than 20 fisherfolk from Napo, Loon who were described as natural actors.
6. "Panaghoy sa Suba", Binisaya movie directed and starred in by Cesar Montano. It won a lot of awards during a film festival. Rebecca Lusterio, now grownup, got a Best Supporting Award for this movie.
7. "Panday", a TV teleserye, starring Jericho Rosales and Heart Evangelista; shot in Carmen, Anda, Loon, and other towns.
