Search and retrieval operations continue today in Compostela Valley, the hardest-hit province by typhoon "Pablo". The official death toll from the typhoon is now at 418, with a majority of it coming from New Bataan town, which was surprised by flashfloods and landslides at the height of Pablo's onslaught. President Benigno Aquino III, meanwhile, is set to arrive in the province today. - ANC Headstart, December 7 2012
