Valentines Day Massacre in the Philippines
« on: February 17, 2011, 08:46:16 AM »
A most wanted person in Cainta, Rizal, who killed his own relatives on Valentine’s Day, arrived at the Old Manila Domestic Airport (MDA) Wednesday after he was collared by Philippine National Police (PNP) in Boac, Marinduque on Tuesday.

The suspected killer identified as Fortunato Acibar Jr., 24, was escorted by Boac Police chief, senior Supt. Gilmer Manguera and his men on board a Zest Air flight Z2-201 which arrived at 9 a.m. at the MDA.

Manguera said Acibar after killing his relatives flew to Marinduque and hide until one of the relatives identified the suspect.

Manguera also said a tipster, who is a tricycle driver, told the police that he identified the suspect when he saw the picture of him flashed on television and also brought the suspect to an abandoned beach resort owned by a balik-bayan.

The suspect was turned over to Rizal provincial police chief Senior Superintendent Manuel Prieto who waited for the turnover at the MDA.

Last Monday, four persons were found dead inside their house in Cainta. They were identified as Amado Azibar Sr., 45; his wife Elizabeth, 40; and children Pretchie, 10; and Amado Jr., 14.

Police Officer 2 Efren Raminan said that the four victims sustained hackwounds in their bodies and had signs that they were hit on the head with hard objects.

He added that the house appeared to be ransacked.

In his report, Senior Superintendent Emmanuel Bautista, Cainta police chief, said the massacre was discovered Tuesday afternoon by the victims’ neighbors who noticed that Acibar’s motorcycle, parked at the parking area was missing.

When responding policemen arrived, they discovered the bodies of the victims and the house located at West Manggahan Floodway, Alley 88, Lakas Tao street, in Barangay San Andres. - PNA

Mao jud. Dili sayon ang paghunos sa kinabuhi sa tawo. Unsa kahay nakatukmod niya pagbuhat sa ingon? Kon tinuyo ang maong binuhatan, unsa man ang motibo? Panimalos?
