The death toll from a tropical storm lashing the Philippines rose to 10 on Monday, officials said.
Landslides killed seven people on the north coast of the southern island of Mindanao and the central islands, while three other people drowned in the southern city of Iligan, they said.
Two other people were still missing while five were injured in the landslides, the civil defence office said in a statement.
Packing winds of up to 65 kms an hour, the storm was over the Sulu Sea on Tuesday after hitting the islands of Bohol, Cebu, Negros and Panay overnight, the weather office said.
