Members of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) and their qualified dependents may avail of benefits if confined with confirmed case of Influenza A(H1N1) virus.

Based on Circular No. 25, series of 2009, hospitalization benefits are set at a maximum of P75,000 which includes room and board charges, drugs and medicines, X-ray, laboratory and supplies, as well as professional fee of doctors.

This benefit covers only cases with admission in hospitals designated by the Department of Health (DOH) and its referral centers for Influenza A(H1N1). Patients admitted in private hospitals may be covered as long as confirmatory tests were coordinated with the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) or with DOH Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD).

Qualified health care workers (HCWs) who got infected with the disease may avail up to P150,000 worth of benefits provided that they are working in a DOH-designated hospital for Influenza A(H1N1), and they acquired the disease while performing their duties or caring for a patient with a confirmed case attested by DOH. Qualified dependents of HCWs who also contracted the disease shall be provided the P75,000 benefit.
PhilHealth members and dependents confined abroad due to Influenza A(H1N1) may also file for a benefit claim here in the country.
The benefit is applicable to all claims with admissions starting May 1, 2009.

Romans 10:9-10
"If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
