PAGASA: Most parts of PHL to experience rains on Wednesday
MANILA, Jan. 11 (PNA) -- The low pressure area (LPA) last eyed at 165 kilometers south of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan will continue to bring rains and thunderstorms on Wednesday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its 4 a.m. advisory, PAGASA said cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flash floods and landslides will be experienced over Bicol, eastern Visayas and the provinces of Aurora, Quezon and Palawan.
Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Caraga and the rest of Mimaropa and Visayas.
Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley and the rest of central Luzon and Calabarzon will have cloudy skies with light rains.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over the rest of Luzon, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of Mindanao.
Weather forecaster Gener Quitlong said northeast monsoon or amihan will continue to bring rainy weather in northern and central Luzon. (PNA)
