Oakwood mutiny leader Capt. Nicanor Faeldon
« on: December 31, 2010, 05:21:32 AM »
Oakwood mutiny leader Capt. Nicanor Faeldon has asked AFP chief Gen. Ricardo David to release him from detention at the Marine headquarters to the custody of a superior officer.

Faeldon made the request through his lawyer, Trixie Angeles, shortly after he posted P200,000 for the coup d etat and rebellion cases he faced before Makati City courts.

Vice President Jejomar Binay provided the amount.

Shortly after posting bail, Angeles proceeded to Camp Aguinaldo where she submitted the request of Faeldon to be released to the custody of Lt. Gen. Juancho Sabban, the commander of the AFP's Western Command.

Faeldon surrendered to Sabban last July after going into hiding for a couple of years. Faeldon escaped after taking part in the November 2007 siege of the Manila Peninsula Hotel.

Angeles said David promised to act on the request of Faeldon. However, Angeles said that for purposes of documentation, David awaited a recommendation from the Judge Advocate General’s Office, whose head is Brig. Gen. Gilberto Roa.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
