New Philippine Navy (PN) chief

President Benigno Simeon Aquino III named Rear Admiral Alexander Pama as the new Philippine Navy (PN) chief.

Pama replaced Rear Admiral Danilo Cortez who will retire on Tuesday upon reaching the mandatory age of 56.

Pres. Aquino will lead the turnover ceremonies on Tuesday at the PN headquarters in Roxas Boulevard.

Pama graduated from Philippine Military Academy in 1979. (PNA)
