Megaworld eyes 100,000 BPO jobs for Davao projectThe P15-billion Davao District is expected to generate around 100,000 jobs primarily in the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector. Megaworld Corp has started construction of the project, with the first phase to include two 15-storey mixed-used buildings and a five-star hotel. The project alone should generate around 10,000 jobs primarily in the BPO sector, according to Megaworld board member Kingson Sian. The Davao City Investment Promotion Center expects more real estate investments in Davao.
