Police Senior Superintendent Florendo Saligao, Acting Provincial Director said in his message, “Laguna Philippine National Police (PNP) are here to strengthen Police Community Partnership together with ‘Juana of Laguna and re-echo the 20th PCR month under the theme: “Matibay Na Ugnayan Ng Mamamayan At Pulisya, Simbolo Ng Kapayapaan At Kaunlaran Ng Sambayanan (Solid Partnership of the Police and the Community, A symbol of Peace and Progress of the People).”

Joining the ceremony were Calamba City Councilor Ruth M Hernandez, 3rd District Board Member, Angelica Jones Alarva, Police Superintendent Meliton A Salvadora Jr, Chief, Police Community Relations Branch (PCRB), Police Senior Inspector Arlene Abastillas, Chief of Police, Liliw MPS, PCR personnel of the province and more than 2,000 Women’s Brigade members.

Earlier, Representative Samuel Duldulao Pagdilao, Jr, Anti-Crime and Terrorism-Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) Party List graced the Kick Off Ceremony of the Month Long Celebration of the 20th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month as Guest of Honor and Speaker during the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City on June 29

This year's theme: “Matibay na Ugnayan ng Mamamayan at Pulisya, Simbolo ng Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran ng Sambayanan,” was highlighted with the awarding of selected PNP Units and Individuals for their significant contribution in building a trusting relationship with the community and promoting its good image.

Pagdilao in his message commends the men and women in the police service for their exemplary performance leading to the vigorous partnership between the PNP and the community. Also, he acknowledged the relentless support of some of the Local Government Units to PNP CALABARZON.

“We have to build a symbiotic relationship with the people. We must encourage their active participation in all our endeavors. Let us bring PNP closer to the people so that they will continue to give their trust to us.” said Pagdilao. (PNA)

Romans 10:9-10
"If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
