The Department of Justice (DOJ) is set to issue a Watchlist Order (WLO) against former President and now Pampanga (2nd District) Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
De Lima said that she may soon order the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to place former President and now congresswoman Arroyo on its watch list.
The BI is an attached agency of the DOJ.
De Lima said that the watchlist may be out "in a few days."
De Lima said that she ordered the suspension of the issuance of the WLO due to humanitarian reasons after Arroyo was brought to the hospital for an operation in the spine.
"We are considering the WLO against the former president. Pero sinuspend ko muna because she was hospitalized," De Lima said.
However, De Lima clarified that if Arroyo is not a flight risk, all she has to do is to get clearance from the DOJ to show that she has the intention of coming back.
