Strong rains here this afternoon soaked Burnham and other parks but visitors from the lowlands danced in glee in the rain as temperature reached 32
degrees Celcius.
Weatherman Wilson Locando of the
Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the rains were just an effect of a diffused tail-end of cold-front affecting Luzon.
Before the rains, Baguio despite of its unique ever-cool temperature had a 26 degrees celsius, one degree higher than the normal high.
Visitors gathered at the Burnham Park instead of being scared away just simply walked towards available shades like the matured eucalyptus, bottle brush and other ornamental trees.
Locando said that the city and suburbs would enjoy fair weather throughout the Holy Week with some cloudy periods and afternoon rain showers and thunderstorms.
