The remains of Gene Luna, the United Nations World Food Programme officer who was killed in the Algiers bombing last week, will arrive in the country Wednesday, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has said.
In a text message, DFA spokesman Claro Cristobal said Tuesday that Luna's remains will arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 7:40 p.m. on Lufthansa 788.
Cristobal corrected an earlier text message he sent that stated Luna would be arriving Tuesday.
Luna was one of at least 28 people killed in a terror attack on the UN office and a government building in Algeria.
