Simula December 22 hanggang 23, 2024 may naitalang 17 kaso ng firework-related injuries mula sa 62 sentinel hospitals na binabantayan ng DOH sa buong bansa. Sa mga kasong ito, 16 ay lalaki (edad 7-37 y/o). Mas mataas ito kumpara noong 2023 na may 6 na kaso sa parehong panahon.


PAALALA NG DOH:


✅ Iwasan ang paggamit ng anumang uri ng paputok. Gumamit ng mga alternatibong pampaingay tulad ng tambol, torotot, at iba pa.


✅ Pagbawalan ang mga bata sa pagpapaputok.


✅ Maaaring tawagan ang National Emergency hotline sa numerong 911 at 1555 naman para sa DOH hotline sakaling mangailangan ng tulong.


Disiplina ay kailangan para masaya at Ligtas Christmas sa Bagong Pilipinas!
