Filipina wife of Japanese national arrested for “shabu possessionâ€
DUMAGUETE CITY, March 22 (PNA) -- A jobless 40-year old resident of Lutao in Bacong, Negros Oriental, was charged Monday with violations of Section 11 and Section 12 of RA 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, after a search yielded positive results.
Jessica Parallon Trinidad, married to a Japanese national with surname Watanabe, was the subject of the search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Gerardo Paguio, Jr., following reports that she is allegedly actively pushing shabu in Bacong.
Recovered during the search were one big bulto of “shabuâ€, another one fourth size bulto and three medium-sized sachets believed to contain shabu granules and five plastic sachets also with suspected shabu residue.
Also recovered were cash proceeds amounting to Php 3,200, tin foils, lighters, improvised clips, tooters, pair of scissors, cellphone and several notebooks with a supposed list of “clients†and “collectiblesâ€.
Bacong chief of police Sr. Insp. Rommel Luga said they had a hard time catching the suspect, but with the cooperation of the neighbors, after two months of surveillance operation they were able to successfully conduct a test buy after which the search warrant was applied. (PNA)
