Fair weather with some clouds, rains on Saturday
« on: April 25, 2020, 10:12:58 PM »
MANILA – The country will have fair weather on Saturday with some clouds and isolated rains in certain parts, brought by the northeasterly surface wind flow, the easterlies, or localized thunderstorms.

In a weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies with isolated light rains will prevail in the Batanes and Babuyan Islands brought by the northeasterly surface wind flow.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers brought by the easterlies or localized thunderstorms.

Both weather phenomena will have no significant impact, PAGASA said in its report.

Winds in the northern and western sections of Northern Luzon will be moderate to strong, headed northeast, resulting in moderate to rough coastal waters with waves of 2.8 meters to 3.7 meters.

The rest of Luzon will have slight to moderate wind speeds headed east to northeast, resulting in slight to moderate coastal waters at 1.2 meters to 2.5 meters.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have slight to moderate winds headed east to northeast, causing slight to moderate coastal waters of up to 2.1 meters.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 25°C to 36°C; Baguio City, 16°C to 26°C; Lipa City, 24°C to 35°C; Iloilo City/Bacolod City, 27°C to 34°C; Tacloban City, 26°C to 33°C; and Metro Davao, 26°C to 36°C. (PNA)
