The administration will field candidates in next year’s
midterm elections in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) and to make sure the elections will be clean, Malacañang wants the voter rolls in all of the region’s five provinces scrapped and replaced through a new registration of
voters.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday during a break in discussions in Malacañang of the government’s preparations for the midterms, President Benigno Aquino III said he would make sure his administration’s ARMM candidates would be “those who
share the same vision that we do have.â€
