A YOUNG coed believed to be raped and killed was found with multiple stab wounds in the body in Antipolo City, Wednesday night.
Supt. Rudino Elfa, city chief of police, in his report to Senior Supt. Rolando Undayan, Rizal police officer-in-charge, said the victim was identified by her mother, Feliza Arguilles, as Abegail, 16, 4th year student at Antipolo City National High School, of Sitio Central, Bgy. Inarawan, Antipolo City.
Investigation shows that the victim was discovered at about 11:45 p.m. in a grassy portion in the barangay, with multiple stab wounds in the body, a cloth tied to her neck, raising suspicion that she was strangulated before she was stabbed dead by unidentified suspects.
“Posibleng ginahasa muna ang dalagitang biktima bago ito pinatay dahil sa itsura ng bangkay nang makita ito ng kaniyang mga kaanak na duguan sa madamong bahagi ng nasabing lugar,†police said.
