THE Theft and Robbery Section (TRS) arrested five people, four of them women, at the corner of Legazpi and Colon Sts. in Barangay Sto. Nino, Cebu City last Saturday night.
TRS Chief Michael Bastes, in a report submitted to the operations section, identified the suspected thieves as Jomar L. Alvares, 36; Ritdhell S. Sanchez, 21; Juvy T. Montalban, alias Juvy Nunez, 31; and Karen V. Cruz, 20.
They came from Cagayan de Oro City and were staying temporarily in Sitio Kalubihan, Banawa, Cebu City. They were arrested at 9 p.m. Saturday after the team found them allegedly loitering in the area.
IDs

At the TRS office, the police reportedly found in their possessions documents owned by other people, cellular phones with several SIM packs and a credit card under the name of a man residing in Butuan City.
There is also a check pay to the order of a known lawyer in Cebu.
Because of the evidence confiscated from them, the five were placed under arrest.
