The forum will be conducted in collaboration with the DOST Regional Office No. IX in the Zamboanga Peninsula on Sept. 28 at the Grand Astoria Hotel, this city.
Jill Cindy Cruz-Cañete of DOST said the activity aims to update key stakeholders in the government and private sectors involved in food, nutrition and health programs on the survey results.
Cañete said the survey results could be used to recommend possible action agenda in the local policy-making and program planning.
Aside from the highlights of survey, FNRI will also present a report on the “High Impact Technology Solutions (HITS) relevant to the nutritional status of Filipino children.â€
The forum will be attended by members of the Regional Development Council-IX (RDC-IX), Provincial Nutrition Action Officers (PNAO), representatives of non-government organizations (NGOs), and media and information officers. - pna.gov.ph
